New Moon in Taurus

Early in the morning of April 26, 2017 we are graced with a New Moon in earthy Taurus. This lunation brings an easy going vibe that encourages us to connect with nature, be appreciative of simple things & plant our feet firmly into the earth. April has felt heavy with the lessons of the past due to all the planets in retrograde & this New Moon brings fresh energy into the mix allowing for momentum to start & new growth to begin.

The pull of this New Moon asks us to honor & acknowledge our physical form as well as celebrate the wonders around us. Taurus speaks to our sensual side, not just our sexuality but the 5 senses that connect us to the world. Smell the blooming trees, see the beauty of nature as she awakens into spring, enjoy a fine meal freshly prepared, listen to the birds as they sing the songs of rebirth, hug someone that you love.

New Moons are a time for bringing our dreams into reality, manifesting, planning, setting new goals, & creating intentions. Taurus adds a flavor of practicality, heart centeredness, abundance & enjoyment while also encouraging us to create security & stability in our lives. This is a good time to set the foundations for a new project or to begin to brainstorm in a different direction.
