Taurus New Moon

Tuesday May 15, 2018 we are graced with a New Moon in Taurus. New Moons brim with potential & possibilities as they tend to welcome something different in or the beginning of something else. This particular lunation is also featuring Uranus moving into Taurus for the first time in over 80 years reinforcing the shift of energy.

The New Moon in Taurus encourages us to get grounded, enjoy our connections, & work hard. This is a stubborn sign that knows what it wants & pursues it with determination. This energy is a great vibration for getting down to the nitty-gritty, getting things started, initiations, & trusting in yourself.

Uranus is one of the slower moving planets & is the seeker of change & revolution. It’s themes are shake ups, surprises, shocks & disruptions to the status quo. The planets last 7 year cycle was in Aries bringing changes in focus to personal expression & radical activism as the sign is a fiercely independent one. Taurus rules money, art, work, supply chains, & possessions so we will see these areas of global life shifting greatly over this next 7 year cycle.

It’s a dawning of a new era of exploration & understanding of what is ours: our voice, our truth, & our expectations of the things, means, & manner that we claim ownership of. This is likely to feel like a great & sudden shift rather than a gentle adjustment which may make us feel a little unsteady. This is especially likely due to the inherent discord created by the sure-footed sign of the bull looking back while the innovation planet pushes us forward.
