My Fight to Save Our Country

If I were not previously both a liberal/democrat (Kennedy Democrat) and later a republican (the Republican Party left me in 2008), I would not feel as strongly as I do about being a “strict constructionist” constitutional conservative right now.  I refuse to be an independent because I consider them as mugwumps, which are people who have one foot in each of the major parties.  They are fence sitters who can come down on either side whenever it is personally advantageous for them to do so.

I strongly dislike the Libertarian Party because they believe in total freedom without commensurate responsibility.  They are for choice and abortion, legalizing marijuana, and “if it feels good, do it.”  I firmly believe in being on one side or the other—no wishy-washy behavior.  Just make a choice and stick with it.  I could not be a Mormon and simultaneously uphold the Democrat Party Platform.  They booed God at their recent national convention.  That was very repulsive.

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” ~ George Santayana.  Hence, if you do not remember what happened in the past four years and learned from it, you are doomed to vote for Obama again and repeat the next four years just like the past four years.  Just vote for your hero Hussein Obama.  You have your free agency.  Exercise it.  When things go from bad to worse, do not see me about it.  You have not studied Obama as I have over the past five years.  Speaking of a bully, he is the king of the bullies but only with a Marxist bent.  I wish you the best.  You are going to need it.  You are another misguided soul.

We are talking about saving our country in a week.  Too many people are part of the problem instead of part of the solution—particularly many people who keep quiet and never stand up for their rights and our country.  I will never sit back and watch people destroy our country no matter who they are.

Too many families are struggling with offspring that are liberals because they were indoctrinated and brainwashed throughout their lives by liberal educators from grade school all the way through college, liberal media (television, movies, radio, newspapers, magazines, Internet websites, etc.), and liberal friends who have bought into the big Democrat lie of caring for the poor and middle class.  I too was a liberal and Democrat when I was in college.  However, I wised up and quickly outgrew the usual liberal/progressive/socialistic mantra and mindset.

I do not even claim to be a Republican.  Instead, I am a true “strict constructionist” Constitutional Conservative.  That’s it!  Creeping socialism as promoted by left-wing liberals, progressives, statists, and Marxist-socialists have infiltrated our courts, schools, politics, and unions.  Now, they are working to make inroads to our churches, military, police forces, and businesses.

When I taught at California State University at San Marcos, I was exposed to the destruction that our liberal professors have done to our young college students.  My students were deathly afraid to argue with me (their professor) because they were pounded by their liberal professors to believe and espouse only liberalism.  I had to pull it out of them.  I encouraged them to challenge everything that I said with which they disagreed.  I welcomed discussion, debate, challenges, opposition, arguments, etc.  I told them that college is where they should be able to argue issues and learn from the discussion.  That is what Socrates, Plato, and all of the other educated philosophers of old did.

However, the students were very fearful to disagree with me on anything.  I had to encourage them to try me out.  I told them that I would give them better grades on tests if they would come up and argue an answer they felt I marked wrong or if they felt strongly that they were right and made a logical argument for their position.  A couple of the brave ones tried me out and benefited from the exercise until finally others gained some trust in what I had told them.  Thus, they finally were able to grow in a college class that they were not able to do in any of their other classes.  From the great, positive student evaluations I received, I had reached them.  Some of them communicated by email with me years after they took that class.

No matter how this presidential election turns out, I am going to get out of politics altogether.  It is a blood sport, and I do not like the fact that, to combat the opposition, I must get down in the mud pit to neutralize their advances.  I’m 70 years old, so if the wrong person wins and things go from bad to worse, I won’t be around very long to experience how bad things can and will get in this country.  I just did my part to stop, curtail, and delay the advances of what was once called “creeping socialism” to what we have before us today, which is “sprinting socialism.”  The U.S. Constitution “hangs by a thread,” and the elders of Israel must step forward to save it.

At any rate, I have felt for over a year that should Mitt Romney ever win the presidency, it will be because of divine intervention.  That is the only way he could ever win because of the way the opposition was demonizing him.  What is happening today, I feel the Lord has a hand in it causing Romney/Ryan to move dramatically ahead in the presidential polls.  However, they would still need to win before I will be totally convinced that divine intervention will have taken place.

Meg Whitman should have been governor of California instead of Jerry “Lost in Space” Brown.  Gloria Allred brought in that illegal alien, got her to “kill” politically Whitman in the last week, and sent the illegal off with a few hundreds of thousands of bucks.  Now, Gloria is working to do the same thing to Romney.  These liberal/progressive people have absolutely no scruples, morals, and ethics when dealing with elections.

I am on the side of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  I am for life or pro-life, not pro-abortion (i.e., pro-death) or choice to kill unborn babies.  I am for liberty or freedom, for freedom isn’t free.  We must pay the price; we must sacrifice—for our liberty.  I am for pursuit of happiness or the right to do as I please, within the law of course, to succeed in a capitalistic economy with free enterprise, free markets, and competition, not a socialistic economy with central governmental control, spread the wealth, and a nanny state.

Because of my advanced age (70), I am a person who will say it and write it like it is.  I pull no punches in my written pieces, publications, “Before It’s News” blog pieces, and Facebook postings.  I know there are millions of people who feel exactly like I do but fear speaking out and letting others know exactly how they feel.  I do not know if it is personal fear or they just do not want to go out on a limb.  However, I would like to encourage all of you timid souls to start speaking out particularly during the last seven days before D-Day (Decision Day) on November 6, 2012.

However the elections turn out, after November 6, 2012, I am just going to concentrate on my teaching homeland security, writing more books, working in counterterrorism, and serving in church.  I am going to leave fighting the forces of leftist liberalism, socialism, progressivism, statism, Marxism, communism, and radical Islamism up to you, my children, and my grandchildren.  D&C 18:20 states: “Contend against no church, save it be the church of the devil.”  I consider radical Islam as the church of the devil.  If we do not stop them, some day they will do away with the U.S. Constitution and Sharia Law will replace it.  When and if that happens, it will be over for all of us.  Good luck in all of your endeavors.
