Police Admit Armored Vehicles ARE FOR Fighting “Constitutionalists” With Guns

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA – It’s very rare for both conservatives and liberals to come together on an issue.  One topic that both sides are concerned about is the militarization of police.

In the wake of events such as the Ferguson riots, there is increasing concern over the use of military-style tactics and vehicles by local law enforcement.  Many liberals have a distrust of police, and fear that officers unfairly target innocent people.

On the other side of the issue, conservatives often support law enforcement, but have concerns that constitutional rights are being eroded.

Now, it seems possible that ALL of those concerns may be valid.

Recently, A local resident recently questioned a Spokane Valley Deputy about why the department would need armored vehicles that are typically used in war zones overseas. The shocking admission that he gave in response proves that so-called “conspiracy theorists” may have had good reason to voice their concerns after all.

Why would local police and sheriff’s departments need armored vehicles in the US? The answer that this deputy gives is chilling. If his reasoning is representative of other law enforcement agencies, then we, as citizens, may indeed have a big problem on our hands.

“I mean, we’ve got a lot of Constitutionalists and a lot of people that stockpile weapons, lots of ammunition,” the deputy stated. “They have weapons here locally (and all over the country).”

We have seen a marked increase in anti-Second Amendment sentiment over the last several years. However, it is bone-chilling to have a law enforcement officer blatantly infer that military style vehicles are being acquired for the purpose of opposition against those Americans that support the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

When those whose purpose it is to serve and protect the citizens of the U.S. begin adopting the mentality that we are potential enemies, we need to come together as a nation and stop assuming that those among us who think critically and are able to read between the lines should be disregarded as “conspiracy theorists.”

Chalk another one up for the “Tin-Foil Hat” team.
