Oprah Winfrey Wields Lynching

Oprah Winfrey (famous for hissing that “generations of people, older people” who she regards as racist “just have to die”) is stumping for the leftist candidate for Governor of Georgia (famous for burning the Georgia flag on the steps of the Capitol). To come up with an argument in favor of Stacey Abrams, Oprah had to go back a few years:

In a Thursday speech in the Republican-leaning suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Oprah Winfrey urged voters to make history by backing Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in next week’s election, saying she refuses to allow the sacrifices of those who were “lynched” and “oppressed” to be “in vain.”

For generations, blacks have enjoyed all manner of favoritism. Yet they scream ever louder that long, long ago — back before they were pampered and privileged — a handful of their ancestors were lynched (generally for committing crimes, as has also happened to people of other races). The belligerent self-pity will never stop so long as it is effective to secure favored status.
