Dem Threatens US Public with Nuclear Weapons

We already knew that Democrats understand nothing about economics. It turns out they know just as little about modern war. This explains the supreme arrogance of prominent Democrats like Dianne Feinstein, who infamously proclaimed that she would confiscate all privately owned firearms, Constitution be damned, if only she had the votes in the Senate. A hyperbolic threat by congresscritter Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to use nuclear weapons on American citizens showcases this arrogance:

Swalwell on Friday said the U.S. government would use its nuclear weapons in a hypothetical war against Second Amendment supporters refusing to give up their firearms.

The hatred the liberal coastal elites express toward regular Americans has reached such a fever pitch that few will be surprised to hear a California Democrat suggest the use of nuclear weapons against the little people in Flyover Country if they get too insistent about their constitutional rights.

Swalwell’s point is that guns in private hands are useless against the mighty federal government; therefore, the only purpose of guns is to allow the maniacs the government refuses to lock up to go on shooting sprees. As Swalwell sneers, “it’s not the 18th Century.”

Neither is it the 20th century, when wars were won with tanks, aircraft carriers, and nuclear weapons. If Swalwell ever gets tired of being clueless, he should read up on Fourth Generation Warfare. For the most serious attack on the USA since the War of 1812, the weapon of choice was boxcutters.

A nation of patriots armed with AR-15s would be more than a match for Swalwell and his fellow authoritarian moonbats, once a certain line is crossed. Nixing the Second Amendment would cross it, because without the right to bear arms to back it up, the rest of the Constitution is just a lot of pretty words.
