Politicized Sports

Sports used to unite communities. It also offered a respite from moonbattery and from the sort of issues that give people ulcers. Not so much anymore. Radical progressives believe that there should be no refuge anywhere from their corrosive ideology. The sports media, as leftist in its orientation as the news media, has aggressively implemented this policy, with hyper-woke ESPN leading the charge. Rare countermoonbat sports journalist Clay Travis sounds off on politicized sports:

Conquering sports media is a significant conquest in progressives’ Long March Through the Institutions. Anyone sitting through a college class, “mainstream” news, or something excreted by Hollyweird expects to be force-fed moonbattery. But when we watch sports, we don’t have our defenses up. Social engineers are able to gaslight us into subconsciously believing that their radical ideology reflects what everyone else thinks. The natural human instinct to conform is powerful. This explains how otherwise sane and benevolent people are duped into aligning themselves with the depraved, pernicious, and illogical dogma of modern liberalism.
