A classic example is due process, for which Democrats expressed utter contempt during the shameful attempts to railroad Brett Kavanaugh with scurrilous allegations. The war on due process continues at the chain of lunatic asylums known as the University of California:

The University of California system has taken a stance against the Trump administration’s proposed Title IX changes, stating that it is “troubled” about certain portions of the change, despite those changes ensuring the cross-examination of sexual assault accusers, a right afforded by the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Only moonbats could be “troubled” by constitutionally guaranteed fundamental liberties like the right to confront your accuser.

With astonishing hypocrisy, Interim Systemwide Title IX Coordinator Suzanne Taylor barked the words “fairness and justice” while defending a system under which accusation equals guilt for men accused by women, according to the vicious and tyrannical precepts of #MeToo feminism.

“The proposed hearings would allow representatives of alleged assailants to directly cross-examine complainants, which is wholly unnecessary and inherently intimidating, especially to students making the already difficult decision to come forward,” Taylor said.

Leftists prefer for vengeful females to be able to destroy any male they choose without even having to look them in the face.

Note that the University of California is overseen by Barack Obama’s appalling idea of a Director of Homeland Security, Janet “Uncle Mort” Napolitano.

Before progressives manage to have all traces of it discarded down the memory hole, have a look at the Sixth Amendment and see if you can reconcile it with University of California policy regarding kangaroo court proceedings for alleged male chauvinist pigs:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

But then, if liberals would discard the Second Amendment, what makes the rest of the amendments sacred?
