Pelosi: Talking to POTUS = Getting Peed On by a Skunk

It wasn’t long ago that we were to told we must respect the office of the presidency, even if we found it impossible to respect Obama himself. The Speaker of House for much of this period — third in line to the presidency — was Nancy Pelosi. This story demonstrates how much respect she has for the presidency now:

Pelosi reportedly questioned President Trump’s “manhood” in a series of pointed closed-door comments with fellow Democrats on Tuesday, following her on-camera sparring with the president over border wall funding.

Snarled Pelosi,

“It’s like a manhood thing for him. As if manhood could ever be associated with him. This wall thing.”

Here’s how she described the meeting yesterday between herself, Trump, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and VP Mike Pence:

“It goes to show you: You get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.”

That is, she equates consulting with the President about a crucial matter of national security with getting urinated on by a skunk. Shortly she will be Speaker of the House again.

The good news is that Trump showed no indication of getting along with Pelosi and Schumer. That would be truly alarming.
