Profiles in Moonbattery: Rashida Tlaib

Congratulations to the Democrats on the historic achievement of putting in power the first Palestinian-American Congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). Here she provides a quote for the history books:

“People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look, you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t. Because we’re going to go in there and we’re going to impeach the motherf***er,’” Tlaib, a freshman Congresswoman, said to cheers.

That represents the caliber and the mentality of the leftists being positioned to rule over us as the deliberately engineered demographic transformation of America into a totally different country begins to bear fruit for the Democrats. No wonder they would rather shut down their beloved federal government indefinitely than provide a penny for the desperately needed wall.

You may well ask, impeach the democratically elected president on what grounds? The answer: on the grounds that he is a bully. The word “bully” in modern political usage means “anyone whose kneecaps leftist thugs want to shatter.”

Tlaib broadcasted where her loyalties lie by getting sworn in on a Koran. The liberal media is delighted by the idea of a Muslim being sworn in on a Koran that once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, as if this proves that Islam and American principles are somehow compatible. “Muslims were there at the beginning,” yells Tlaib. They sure were. They were our enemy from the earliest days of the republic.

Jefferson didn’t read the Koran because he wanted to take up murdering infidels; it was more likely to have been on a know your enemy basis. Muslims forced us to pay exorbitant tributes to lay off with the piracy, which entailed taking Americans as slaves. Jefferson sent over the Marines to put a stop to it. The Marine Corps Hymn refers to this with the line, “To the shores of Tripoli.”

You wouldn’t learn that from the Detroit Free Press, which instead opts to tell its readers this:

Jefferson wrote Virginia’s Statute on Religious Freedom — and intended it to apply to Muslims, Hindus and Jews as well as Christians — and that a large number of slaves brought into the U.S. were Muslim, which could also have piqued the interest of Jefferson, who was a slave owner.

So now the story is about how Americans enslaved Muslims. What was that old Soviet joke? The future is certain; it’s the past that keeps changing.

Tlaib’s fellow Muslim congresscritter Ilhan Omar, a Somali who wants to destroy Israel, apparently married her brother while committing immigration and student loan fraud. When Omar ridiculed Vice President Pence for his Christian faith, Tlaib liked the tweet.

It is a relief to know that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won’t get lonely, surrounded by white people and grownups. There will be plenty of people like her — more with each election.
