Typhus Epidemic Hits Los Angeles

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Where you have leftists making policy, you have illegal aliens from backward countries and large encampments of derelicts living as if America were a backward country too. Where you have those, you have exotic diseases that we used to think we had left behind us — like typhus. Such diseases inevitably spread to the population of regular Americans. Sometimes the diseases even spread to bureaucrats. From Los Angeles:

Deputy City Attorney Liz Greenwood, a veteran prosecutor, tells NBC4 she was diagnosed with typhus in November, after experiencing high fevers and excruciating headaches.

“It felt like somebody was driving railroad stakes through my eyes and out the back of my neck,” Greenwood told the I-Team. “Who gets typhus? It’s a medieval disease that’s caused by trash.”

Ironically, Democrats denounce a border wall as a “medieval” solution to the ongoing Third World invasion that is possibly responsible for importing this medieval disease.

Typhus is spread by fleas living on rats, which flourish in environments created by moonbats. Last year, Los Angeles County set a new record with 124 cases.

[Greenwood] believes the city should fumigate City Hall and City Hall East to protect the thousands of workers and visitors who could be at risk from getting typhus.

Considering that bureaucrats are the most likely culprits of the typhus epidemic, thanks to sanctuary city policy and a pricey taxpayer-financed welcome mat for derelicts, it would be more fair to fumigate private businesses, and let bureaucrats sleep in the flea-crawling bed they made.

The word “typhus” comes from the Greek word for “hazy,” “describing the state of mind of those infected.” If hazy minds had not already been a problem at City Hall, the epidemic might have been avoided.

On a tip from Jester.
