Outlook

An unsettled weather pattern will set up across the region through most of next week. As rounds of widespread rainfall may occur across the area, the threat of flash flooding and flooding of rivers and streams will increase. Heavy rain will be possible tonight, then again Tuesday into Wednesday, and possibly into Thursday, especially across the southwest-facing slopes of the mountains.

Weather Hazards

Hazardous weather is not anticipated today. Heavy rainfall is expected later today and tonight. As usual, when it rains, there will be runoff on area roadways and ponding that could lead to hydroplaning for vehicles that are exceeding safe speeds. Please slow down and arrive alive and uninjured.

This next week will be dominated by a wet weather pattern, so keep your umbrella with you and use your headlights so other motorists can see you on the roads.

Tonight

Showers, mainly before 4am. The rain could be heavy at times. Areas of fog before 4am. Lows in the lower 40s. Calm winds increasing to around 5 mph out of the northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between three-quarters and one inch possible.
