Sharron Davies Attacked for Defending Women’s Sports

Hats off to championship swimmer Sharron Davies of the UK for having the guts to defend women’s sports from utter destruction by the transsexual agenda:

“I have nothing against anyone who wishes 2be transgender [sic]”, Davies wrote on Twitter.

Few do. The issue is not preventing the mentally ill from pretending to be members of the opposite sex. The issue is preventing leftists from reengineering society so as to cater to the mentally ill at the expense of the healthy.

“However I believe there is a fundamental difference between the binary sex u r born with & the gender u may identify as.”

The difference lies in the fact that the former pertains to objective reality, whereas the latter refers to delusion in the case of transsexuals.

“To protect women’s sport those with a male sex advantage should not be able 2compete in women’s sport.”

This should be no more controversial than saying heavyweight boxers should not be allowed to compete as bantamweights. Yet in today’s environment, Davies has risked becoming a pariah.

The attack is underway. Woke SJWs call for her to be stripped of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. She has been denounced as a transphobic fueler of hate.

Davies explains why she had to speak out:

“Unfortunately, a lot of people who are in the races [now] are in a very difficult predicament when they can’t speak out. It maybe falls to the people who were competing [in the past] who would understand the predicament that is being faced at the moment to try to create a debate, and try to explain how we feel there needs to be a fair and level playing field.”

It is up to former athletes like Davies and Martina Navratilova (who, sadly, has since apologized for her truth-telling), because a currently active athlete would have her career destroyed by the Thought Police. That’s how far into a corner we have allowed political correctness to box us.
