Chicago Cubs Ban Fan for Life Over OK Sign

The level of intolerance and hysteria is like a cross between the Salem witch trials and China’s nightmarish Cultural Revolution. A baseball fan has been banned for life by the Chicago Cubs for making the OK sign with his hand, because moonbats have been duped by a 4chan prank (Operation O-KKK) into thinking it is racist. This NBC story is actually on the level:

A Chicago Cubs fan who appeared to flash a “white power” hand gesture behind a black sports reporter while he was on air has been banned from Wrigley Field.

Actually, what he flashed was a peace sign, followed by an OK sign. The OK sign could also be a reference to the Circle Game. Recently, as a result of a 4chan prank, gullible moonbats think that it makes the letters WP for white power — but only if you hold your hand with the fingers pointing upward, which is not what the fan was doing.

The fan, who has not been identified, was “indefinitely” banned from Wrigley Field for violating the Chicago Cubs Guest Code of Conduct, the team’s president of business operations, Crane Kenney, said in a statement Wednesday.

“If he attempts to enter Wrigley Field or other ticketed areas he may be subject to prosecution for criminal trespass to property,” the statement said.

Presumably the same goes for Zina Bash, a Mexican-born Jewish lawyer who was accused of making the OK sign during the attempted Kavanaugh railroading.

So righteous they are. No one will ever accuse the Chicago Cubs of being witches, I mean racists. Not when they are this eager to send others to the stake. At least, that seems to be the point of scapegoating their fan.

The poor guy in the Cubs sweatshirt was sacrificed on the altar of liberals’ bizarre religion, which dictates that failure to obsequiously revere Persons of Politically Preferred Pigmentation is the highest blasphemy. Disgustingly, Doug Glanville approves of the sacrifice:

Glanville thanked NBC Sports and the Chicago Cubs organization for launching an investigation. “They have displayed sensitivity as to how the implications of this would affect me as a person of color,” he said in a statement.

As if Glanville were somehow the victim here rather than the fan. For all Glanville or the Cubs know, the fan is a PC liberal and voted for Obama. Not matter; he is white, so he’ll do.

Unlike the Cubs and NBC Sports, the Anti-Defamation League does not pretend that the OK sign is a crime against Cultural Marxism.

Even though its usage has expanded and evolved, it still seems primarily intended to trigger or troll people on the left and cause them to react, although some white supremacists have also used it—generally jokingly—among themselves.

It is important to realize that the “OK” gesture is a nearly universal hand gesture and most usage of it is completely innocuous. Even when used as described here, the fact that white supremacists, the alt lite and many Trump supporters all use the symbol means that one cannot assume that anyone who poses with such a gesture is intending or exhibiting an association with white supremacy. Only if the gesture occurs in context with other clear indicators of white supremacy can one draw that conclusion.

Unless of course you are looking for sacrificial victims to prove how politically correct you are.

Another 4chan prank involves getting liberals to think milk is racist. This too appears to have had the desired effect among gullible fools. How long before the wrath of the Establishment starts falling upon people caught drinking milk?

Careful, moonbats. If everything is racist, then nothing is racist. If nothing is racist, then you will need a new excuse to lord it over everyone. The same goes for global warming, which is allegedly caused by everything people do, including breathing and eating.

So the Cubs are fine with employing a baseball player — and paying him millions of dollars — despite the fact that he beat a woman, but they draw the line at Internet prank hand gestures from fans?
