Millions to Benefit From New Rules on Health Reimbursement Arrangements

60 Plus Association Founder and Chairman James Martin today issued the following statement in support of the Trump administration’s new rules expanding the availability of Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) for small businesses and employees:

“President Trump is righting a wrong from the previous administration by letting small businesses and individuals take advantage of the tax benefits of HRAs. Not only will this action lower costs for employees, families and individuals, it will also expand the choices families have in choosing a health plan that works best for them. 

“Improving access to health care and lowering costs was a core promise when Donald Trump ran for office and he is keeping his promise to the American people. An estimated 11 million people will now be able to enjoy the benefits of HRAs, providing a better quality of health and life for themselves and their families.”
