“We the People” hereby issue an effectual counter-fatwa against Imam Feisal Rauf and his merry band of fundamentalist Muslims who are bent on instituting Sharia Law in the United States and will punish all Americans who oppose the building of the Ground Zero Mosque. He also said that “more terrorist violence will result if building of the mosque is prevented.” It seems that Feisal Rauf has threatened us and will carry out his threats. We Americans will not stand idly by and watch him destroy the United States of America. Therefore, the battle lines are drawn and we welcome Rauf bringing on the challenge. We will not tolerate intimidation and insults.

None of this is surprising coming from a man who recently published a book in Malaysia titled A call to prayer from the WTC debris – Islamic Da’wah in the heart of American post 9/11. There are two ways to look at the Mosque in question. I personally find this counter challenge lacking some God Given Intelligence and Wisdom. Don’t use fear as a ploy to arouse support in what is apparently the worst move anyone could ever introduce in this ‘Humanized Game’.
Maybe, we should 1st look at who is the real guilty party for at least one… of the Twins. The news and proof is blasted all over the Globe by experts and professionals alike. Fear? Fear to take on the owner of the Tower(s) and their co-horts (accomplices?

Give me a break! You ignore the content matter of my message just to rave on with your pro-warlike position. There are rotten apples in Washington… commercial interests and religious empires (The Vatican’s history of weapons manufacturing for example) that will certainly back you.
I stood up and fought! I am a decorated (12 times) combat veteran who found out that the Game was being played for special interest groups on both sides of the jungle. How many died: US; Vietnam; Other Nationality? How many innocent people (children)were killed? And the beat goes on!!! And on!!! And on!!!
Now you propose a contro-fatwa? Unfortunately, it seems like you are serious. That is scary in itself!
Is there intelligence anywhere among those like you? Not an insult! A valid question? You know that God Given Intelligence that can focus on Love, Wisdom, Peace, and mental abilities to resolve this situation, created by similar thinkers, in a non suicidal manner.

Don’t put the American People against a warrior that is superior to them in their beliefs. Americans are humans. The opposition is Spiritual with a dispensable ‘body’. Stop playing the cavalry commander on a horse yelling “Charge” like Custer did. Ever read the true story about General Custer? In the end, it was the ‘holy and commercial white man’ who was wrong! Even scalping was introduced by the white buffalo abusers and murderers.
No one is conquering anyone! People are making their own decisions. The True God or god will stand-up without fatwas or contro-fatwas without pushing new wars against Her Children (of all nations, creeds, and beliefs). “Fight”? Seems like America needs to concentrate, if we must take the “Fight” mentality, in Washington and the White House… the Pentagon… against those who push “Fight”.
I live among, and have been raised among, people of many different nations, creeds, beliefs, and bank accounts. We have always intelligently worked things out together… without religious or political special-interest interference. Maybe, “We the People” should perform our own investigations into Terrorism and the religious / political conflicts. Who is the true terrorist? Who is putting fuel on human fires? Who is profiting? Gaining? Building Roman Empires anew? And, in the end: Maybe “We the People” should step back int governing under One Creator and Parent of Our Universes. Did i say “maybe”? No! Not maybe! Definitely so! The politicians, popes of all creeds, and big business mongers have led us intentionally into human decay and loss of ‘True Life’!

Hi Gregg,
I have the greatest respect for Marines because a young Marine saved my life from drowning when I was around 10 years old. So, I won’t parry with you in your special way of discussing serious matters with people. You come across as a bit bitter. I like to stay above the fray, refrain from personal putdowns, and boasting about combat experience and medals. I try hard to remain professional in my debates with those who revel in verbal combat.
However, I did serve for four years in AFROTC, over eight years of active duty in the USAF, and over a quarter century in the aerospace and defense industries developing military systems for our warfighters. Every military person has his areas of expertise and some serve in battle because of their physical prowess, while others (like me) support the warfighters with our education, knowledge, experience, and mental acuity.
When I was working on my master’s degree in astronautics at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), I did volunteer to serve in combat in Vietnam. However, the AFIT commandant told me to go back to my studies and graduate because they had enough grunts (I embarrassingly admit that he used the word “idiots”) to fight in the jungles of Vietnam. He said, “Plus that, our U.S. warriors would probably mistake me [an Asian] for the enemy and shoot me dead.” So, I sheepishly went back to my master’s research project in the Aero Propulsion Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio, and finished up my studies firing a shock tube instead of firing a rifle.
So, I am sorry I cannot brag like you about any combat experience or earning silver or bronze stars for heroism. However, I did earn several ribbons, badges, medals, and awards–although none as impressive as your 12 decorations. Hence, I thank you for your service and am glad that you did not unknowingly make the ultimate sacrifice as many of my friends did.
I hold your track record in high esteem. However, are you going to answer my question regarding at what point would you stand up and fight? I would appreciate an answer to that question. Thanks.

However, to bring the ‘war games’ for unprepared American Citizens (or any other country) from out of the technological and virtual media arena of gladiators > is an insane objective. If you desire to bring the “terrorist war” home in full-scale versions like you are promoting > than why don’t we stop playing overseas and bring everyone home to fight from NY to Cal and Michigan to Louisiana. And, could someone explain: Why the White House, Pentagon, and others involved in the war game have always preached that we were dying overseas to keep the ‘war’ out of America.
Now Korea… tomorrow? A Counter-Fatwa inside our borders + Iraq + Afghanistan + ? = Iran + North Korea + Next? Maybe you should have gone to Vietnam so that you could have come to understand ‘war’ on the real streets and jungles.
