The American Queen In Town Today!

A catfish replica at Catfish Row Children’s Art Park.

The Grand American Queen showed up again with her passengers to tour our historic civil war town of Vicksburg, Mississippi. She is riding high above the Vicksburg Riverfront Murals because of the recent flooding from the MS River into the Yazoo Diversion Canal. I was standing in the Catfish Row Children’s Art Park to take this picture.

This picture was taken on Washington Street looking down towards where the Amerian Queen was moored near The Old Depot Museum in the Yazoo Diversion Canal.

A mother, stepmother, grandmother and great grandmother who was taught deer hunting by my second husband, Bob, in my mid-forties. I’m still hunting today and loving it!
