Riverboat "American Duchess" Returns

Looking at the Riverboat “American Duchess” from Children’s Art Park at Catfish Row.

Across on Levee Street, passengers were loaded onto the buses to tour our historic civil war town of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

School children were on a field trip and someone went into the center and turned the water on to start the spray.

A full view of the American Duchess in the Yazoo Diversion Canal while her passengers toured our town. She will be back next Wednesday with American Song and Queen of the Mississippi. The following Wednesday is scheduled for three more riverboats. Queen of the Mississippi, American Queen, and America. This will be a site to see on both occasions!

A mother, stepmother, grandmother and great grandmother who was taught deer hunting by my second husband, Bob, in my mid-forties. I’m still hunting today and loving it!
