Wetwired: Communazi Victory Without Firing A Shot

I know when I talk about the police state, I get a lot of people wince and want to say this country is immune from police state activity or, that it is all justified when we are fighting the open ended war on terror. Regardless of how clean you think you are, no one is above scrutiny or investigation. We have been bombarded with propaganda where we know our various rights are being violated. We are all willing to call talk shows and vent our spleens over gun rights and the infringement upon the 2nd Amendment.

However, again I have to wonder about people who really do not care about 4th Amendment rights or due process or any other right that is being erased covertly without anyone standing up and commenting about it.

There seems to be a lack of consistency with a lot of people who have the responsibility of either being talk show hosts or even news reporters that decide there are other rights being infringed upon. This includes some semblance of privacy or a right to not be unlawfully detained and searched without probable cause.

In the open-ended war of terror, is it now the norm to rationalize that no one, no American deserves a reasonable expectation of privacy.

As I have stated before, in the Orwellian nightmare that no one is awakening from, there are creative ways of describing the untold criminal methods our government uses in the name of combating terror.

The other night I fell asleep on the sofa while I was watching TV. Something startled me and so I woke up and turned off the television. I sat on the sofa feeling a little nauseous and was debating to myself as to whether or not I should get up and move into my bed. While I was sitting in the front room, I could hear some clicks and some beeps.

It was odd because I had never noticed it before. I checked to see if it was my cell phone. Maybe I had accidentally dialed something and that I was hearing clicks and beeps there. It wasn’t the phone and it wasn’t the TV. I was searching everywhere as the beep became less of an intriguing event and more of an annoyance.

I stepped outside on to the balcony of my apartment and I heard the beep more clearly. It sounded as if it was coming from a power pole just outside near the trees. It was coming from a box that was hanging near the distribution transformer. I didn’t recognize the box and thought it was something the cable company used to distribute television signals.

I know that we live in a digital world but these beeps started to annoy me. It was like mental torture to be stuck with these little beeps.

I wondered if I was listening to a timer, or some rogue security system sending messages to security center. Not being able to sleep, I turned on my TV in my room and something strange happened. The screen flipped on and on it was Anderson Cooper. The image was frozen and over it was this pulsating green digital interference. The image had pulsed and flickered and I had to look away and turn the TV off again. When I turned it back on, the image was perfect and so I was able to watch the elate CBS news reports.

I eventually fell asleep. I woke up and there was no beep.

I shared my story with a neighbor on the bus and asked if he heard any of the beeps. He said no but he did say that the television was acting up and that he too saw the pulsing green image on a frozen screen.

I felt like calling the cable company, and then I had some Déjà vu. This was something that I saw once in an X-Files episode.

In the X-Files episode, “Wetwired,” Mulder and Scully look into a series of homicides in which the killers were otherwise normal and harmless people. Somehow, all the perpetrators suddenly became delusional, triggered by a mysterious unknown force. The investigation finds that the killers were “triggered” by a color spectrum and sound manipulation originating from a tampered cable television box. Scully eventually becomes affected and Mulder is not. Later it is revealed that Mulder is color blind and would not feel the subliminal effects of the flashing colors and malfunctioning cable box.

Mulder believes that there was a mind control device that was installed on the utility pole and that it turned people’s fears into dementia.

Now I am not saying that what was on that pole was a mind control device, but I am beginning to wonder if it is a surveillance device.

Three years ago, Russia Today reported that in the Seattle area there was a journalistic probe into a little known new initiative taking place within the city that involved the installation of dozens of devices that would create a digital mesh network for law enforcement officers. The devices — small white-boxes equipped with antennas and adorned on utility poles — would broadcast data wirelessly between nodes so police officers could have their own private network to more easily share large amounts of data.

Yesterday, local news Arizona 15 and ABC affiliate reported that Brain Clegg noticed a strange box on a utility pole near his home. Clegg described tinted windows on the box, which he believes allowed for surveillance cameras inside.

Clegg contacted Salt River Project power and water and asked them about the box on the pole and they claimed that an SRP representative told ABC15 that no one had permission to put the box on their pole.

Clegg told reporters that he has video of what he described as an SRP crew removing the box late last month. The box was facing Clegg’s house, a strip mall and a high school.

SRP said there were indications that law enforcement was connected to the box, but did not elaborate.

Clegg said the crew who installed the box came in a truck marked “Field Pros.”

According to ABC 15, a Google search of that name does not return any utility or surveillance company. Such a company is not registered in Arizona.

These same boxes were showing up in Ft. Myers, Florida. When people started questioning what the boxes were about, some unknown electrician company comes out and removes them.

So, the assault on our privacy continues apace with the “authorities” way in the lead in ability and secrecy while we, the public, slowly and uncertainly try to catch up with what’s really going on.

I had an old teacher named Mrs. Johnson. She sat us down in her classroom and showed us slides of her trip to the Soviet Union. She showed us checkpoints, surveillance cameras and police that wore military uniforms. Her words were stern and solemn and in the third grade you listen to what the teacher tells you. She warned that we must recognize these injustices and never make the same mistakes that the Soviets were making. She said this is communism — we live in a free country where we don’t have to worry about Big Brother looking over our shoulders.

She told us the United States must remain free from surveillance and unnecessary search and seizure.

I have never been able to find anything scientific to explain why Americans have forgotten how Communist Russia was during the Cold War. The topic of how we have become what Russia was under Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Yeltzin, Andropov and Gorbachev. This country is being asked to allow the grip of the surveillance state to permeate every aspect of our lives. When the government says jump, we say how high, no matter how many rights are violated in the process.

George Orwell once made the statement: Circus Dogs jump and do somersaults when the trainer cracks his whip. But the really well-trained dog is the one that jumps and does somersaults when there is no whip.

We will allow surveillance to be implemented in this country and we won’t question why it is being used.

When you are a company and stand up for privacy, you are ordered by the government to give up your security codes.

When Apple stood up to the government saying they wouldn’t create a key to tap into a terror suspects phone, the US District Court in California ordered Apple to create software that could be loaded onto Syed Rizwan Farook’s iPhone in order to unlock the device described as a “skeleton key” to the encrypted data.

The government argued it could create software that would work only once on one phone. But Apple, in a statement, said even creating the technique is too big of a threat, because it could easily be reused on any phone. Later, the FBI announced it mysteriously hacked into the iPhone without Apple’s help.

The information transmitted by any electronic devices is subject to government surveillance without a warrant. Thanks to FISA, the government legally monitors millions of digital streams, internet, search phrases programmed to cue in on a variety of key words.

This high-tech word search filters communications and tags those that contain key words for higher surveillance protocol. With the digital channels, the government can legally monitor when and what you have been watching downloading and listening to.

It sounds like what used to happen in Soviet Russia.

Many people are now comfortable with the idea that their personal information is now available with a keystroke which opens your file that is linked to a massive system of computer databases maintained and monitored by government agencies, law enforcement officials, for-profit businesses and private intelligence networks.

All the information about your medical, psychiatric, drug intake, TV viewing, credit and banking are all cross-referenced to companies that will go out of their way to prevent you from getting a place to live, a car to drive, a gun for protection, drugs for pain even food to eat because of some “flag” or “glitch” that tells them that you are a risk and not worth dealing with.

Just like Cold War Russia.

When bad government policy leads to bad results, the U.S. government does what the Soviets did back in the good old days of communism when they manipulated the data. In America, whistleblowers and dissidents are now treated as ruthlessly as in the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

It is also interesting that now there has been a presidential candidate charismatic enough to draw people into the trap of socialism. Do we hear the echoes of what we were warned bout during the Cold War?

The people don’t matter anymore; fourth amendment rights don’t matter anymore. It’s all about balancing national interests against individual freedom and privacy.

Millions of Americans simply do not remember what America used to stand for – freedom, justice, equality, and as a result, don’t fully comprehend the appalling reality of what America has become.

The United States has now assumed the role Soviet Russia at their worst, and some say we are heading towards becoming like Nazi Germany, all rolled into one putrid burrito.

Like the Communists in Russia before us, the majority of Americans don’t want to defend freedom now that we have declared freedom incompatible with security.
