Response: Unfortunately, most of the press is now part of the lame-stream media (LSM).  They are all lapdogs of the Obama administration.  The LSM is derelict in its duty of investigative journalism.  We don’t have enough of it anymore these days.  Now, we need freedom from the press rather than freedom of the press.

It’s Jobs, Stupid!

If getting laid off today is a great day, what about being laid off exactly 19 months ago?  These progressive jerks are creating no new jobs.  They consider saving a government job as equivalent to creating a new job.  Do they not know that government cannot create any jobs?  Most jobs are created by small businesses.  Everything the Obama administration has done is keeping small businesses from hiring new people.  If creating jobs was so important to them, why did they waste most of their time during the first year on the ill-advised Obamacare legislation?  It’s jobs, stupid, not passing a government-run, costly healthcare program!  What a bunch of jerks.

California and Arizona

I agree that California is a nut-house.  Arizona is a follower (of California), not a leader.  Hence, what do you expect from a state with a former governor who now heads the corrupt Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and a Republican in Name Only (RINO) U.S. senator who was supposed to have been beaten by J.D. Hayworth and a daughter who claims she is a progressive? I have a son and daughter who live in Arizona, and I’m working on a PhD with Northcentral University in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  Arizona goes from good to bad while California goes from bad to worse.

How Did Obama Get Elected POTUS?

Someone asked: I still can’t figure out why the powers that be would allow a man to take the office of president of the United States (POTUS) without him meeting the qualifications.

To which I answered: Unfortunately, “the powers that be” were all of the Kool-Aid-drinking lemmings who want the “spread the wealth” entitlements.  They comprise about 40% of the population.  Hopefully, all those independents that were screwed in 2008 will not be blinded again by the silver-tongue devil and vote for him again in 2012.  And “the powers that be” in Congress who allowed him to be certified as a natural-born citizen couldn’t care less about the country.  All they care about is personal power and money.  That’s all.

A Lesson on Water Conservation

Years ago, we had a prolonged drought in Southern California.  Thus, California Water and Power (CWP) made a plea to all of its customers to help out by cutting down our water usage.  Like a good citizen, we cut our water usage in half.  Then, CWP doubled the rates of our monthly bills.  When we questioned them, they said that because of the reduced water usage, they had to double the rates to make up for the lower revenues they were receiving.  I got so mad at that such that I started using all of the water I wanted.  You see, it is not about water conservation.  It is about making money all at the customers’ expense.  I learned a good lesson about water conservation with that bad experience.  LOL!

CERT Mission

Terrorism is part of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) mission.  When terrorists attack (and it should be soon), we may be dealing with shootings, suicide bombings, vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs), and indeed, bank-robbery-type situations.  My current doctoral dissertation research study is on “Exploring the elements contributing to improvised explosive device (IED) campaigns in the United States homeland.”  Therefore, I personally think that this kind of training is appropriate and needed.  Remember, CERT is not only disaster preparedness and associated basic disaster response skills.

War with Mexico

We may soon be at war with Mexico after the drug cartels topple the current, legitimate Mexican government and take over as a rogue government.  It is not as far-fetched as you may think.  The police in Mexican towns have been resigning their posts because the drug cartels have been shooting, killing, and beheading the chiefs of police and others in the police departments.  Even the Mexican military forces can hardly keep up with the firepower of the drug cartels.  We must prepare ourselves for a pending war with a rogue Mexican government.

Communicating with God

If you want to talk to God, pray; if you want God to talk to you, read the scriptures. Pray hard for God to help you.  Then, work hard to make your prayer come to pass.  Pray hard as though everything depends on God.  Then, work hard as though everything depends on you.  God helps those who help themselves.
