SCOTUS Held Hostage, Kavanaugh Accuser Ford is NOT Serious About Testifying

Now it is official.

After 5 delays granted by Senate Judicial Committee chairman Senator Grassley, including one last night into today to accept the offer to testify, we now know she is not serious.

Fords attorney released at the 2:30 p.m. deadline today a response to Grassley that had these rhetorical nuggets in it. According to USA Today…

“Dr. Ford accepts the committee’s request to provide her first-hand knowledge of Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual misconduct next week,” Ford’s attorney Debra Katz wrote to the committee leadership staff Saturday just before a 2:30 p.m. deadline.

She followed up with this…

“We are hopeful that we can reach agreement on details,” Katz wrote. “Can we set up a time for later this afternoon to continue our negotiations?”

How hard is it to agree to testify? Judge Kavanaugh agreed to show up whenever the committee requested. No conditions, just answer the questions thrown at him by “Spartacus & Company”

You received an invite Professor Ford, get on a plane a train or in an automobile and you go to Washington D.C. and talk with the people who have held up for close to a week. This whole baloney reasoning about continuing to talk about the setting, the lighting and whether or not more Code Pink wack-a-doodles will be able to burst into screaming fits every 5 minutes is moronic.

If you want America to hear your story, show up. Really that simple.

The GOP has tried to make this work and the Dems and Ford are playing a delay game and it needs to stop.

S.C.O.T.U.S being held hostage needs to end and it needs to end today. Hold the vote to send the nomination to the full Senate on Monday Sen. Grassley.
