Atlanta Is Burning: Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa

Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa is a small Antifa group based in Metro Atlanta that appeared at the NSM rally in Newnan, GA in April. It recently burned an American flag on Facebook:

While I was researching JAM CITY ANTIFA and Nashville Antifa, I noticed this fat Indian kid with glasses was at the 2018 Amren conference and the NSM rally in Newnan, GA. I saw him in several livestream videos alongside Jordan Reid, Raven Xan Morgan, Timothy Grey Hall, John W. Shade III and John Carico aggressively stalking and threatening a local resident of Newnan.

PRAVEEN BASU VELMURUGUN

It dawned on me that I had seen him in Auburn too.

After doing some digging, I discovered that he was at Amren 2018, Richard Spencer’s event Auburn, the NSM event in Newnan, Rock Stone Mountain in 2016 and the Anti-ICE protest in Atlanta in July. He was livestreaming at the Amren conference when he put his phone down at the security checkpoint and filmed his face. He was in Newnan wearing the same white anti-Nazi t-shirt that identified him as a member of Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa.

As I searched through photos and livestreams, I noticed something that I had never seen an Antifa do before. He was wearing his state issued ID prominently strapped to his arm in full view of hundreds of cameras. After zooming in on his arm, cutting out the ID and rotating it, I discovered with the help of some friends on Gab that he is Praveen Basu Velmurugun of Newnan, GA.

Praveen Basu Velmurugun aka “George Malakai” was highly upset on Facebook this afternoon about being identified and sent me a threatening photo of his arsenal:

He appears to also be connected with the North Georgia Socialist Rifle Association. I’m confident that Praveen Basu Velmurugan is already on the radar screen of the Newnan Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) as a potentially violent domestic extremist. He was seen standing shoulder to shoulder in Newnan with Jordan Reid of JAM CITY ANTIFA who has described himself on Twitter as a “proud domestic terrorist.”

LAURA BETH MEHOK (GOODRICH)

Praveen Basu Velmurugan was seen in Newnan standing alongside a blonde haired woman holding the Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa banner. We believe this is Laura Beth Mehok (Goodrich) of Hiram, GA who doxed herself on Twitter as a member of Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa. We suspect that she is the leader of this affinity group.

UNIDENTIFIED

There was a third member of Atlanta White Rose Society Antifa in Newnan.

She was seen holding a banner and doesn’t appear to have been violent. We haven’t bothered to identify this Antifa because we have higher priority suspects to investigate.
