Rick Scott Wins Court Order Requiring Broward County to Obey Florida Law

Right now, the Democrat machine in Broward County, Florida, is trying to steal two elections: governor and senate. The head of the Broward Board of Elections is an known incompetent and scofflaw who in the past, and today, has decided that neither Florida law nor the Florida constitution controls what happens in her personal fiefdom. Florida Senator Marco Rubio blew the whistle on her scam yesterday and followed up today:

2. In addition,they are required by state law to submit results every 45 minutes. The last update from them was over 20 hours ago.

3. Every ballot they receive has to be logged. Why have they consistently refused to disclose how many they have left to canvass & count? 3/4

And President Trump has made note:

Rick Scott was up by 50,000+ votes on Election Day, now they “found” many votes and he is only up 15,000 votes. “The Broward Effect.” How come they never find Republican votes?

Yesterday, Florida Governor Rick Scott filed a lawsuit seeking to require that Broward follow the law. An emergency hearing was held on the case just minutes ago:

Attorneys for Scott say the case is simple, about access to info that the Broward SOE was required to provide.

Snipes’ attorney says she’s not trying to prevent the release of the information the NRSC/Scott. He says she’ll gladly give them the records, but they’re trying to rush her in the midst of a busy counting period.

GOP attorney says it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes, and requests an order that they get the records within two hours.

Snipes must allow immediate inspection of records – plus no spoliation of records requested – on or before 7 pm tonight.

Not only does the Broward Board of Elections have to release vote tallies, they have to allow observers in the room where the ballots are being counted. Both Broward and Palm Beach have barred Rick Scott’s campaign from the counting room. Odd, eh?

There is exactly one reason that Broward won’t even tell the number of ballots cast on Tuesday: they are manufacturing them as they go. Hopefully, this will generate enough attention that two hard fought victories won’t be stolen.
