So, like all liberal states, leftists reside in big metropolitan areas and decide laws like this for the entire state, the rest of which is generally conservative and adherents of the Constitution.  Oregon, a state I used to reside in, is politically controlled by the Portland, Salem area.  I now reside in Eastern Washington very close to Idaho and only 70 miles from the Canadian border.  The people around here are God fearing and mostly conservative.  Unfortunately, however, Seattle and its liberal suburbs have decided all of Washington must adhere to the new gun law which restricts the purchase of semi-automatic weapons to those 21 years of age and older.  The law will take effect at 12:00 am on July 1st, 2019.

Like all things lefties try to impose on citizens, they’re getting the exact opposite reaction than they wanted.  According to several stores selling firearms, there has been a real flurry of people 21 and under purchasing these weapons before the law takes effect.  In addition, sheriffs throughout Washington state are taking a stand saying they won’t enforce the new gun law.  Loren Culp, Chief of Police in Republic, Washington said, “We took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Washington state, and this completely flies in the face of both the US and state Constitutions.

The Spokane County Sheriff has received death threats from a man under investigation for online threats.  Jayden Ledford threatened Spokane Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich stating, “Sheriffs that are not compliant will be shot.  By me.  Ozzie Knezovich is gonna get a bullet in his head.”  Just like lefties.  They have no sense of irony.  They are trying to prevent “gun crimes” by threatening to use a gun to assassinate sheriffs who uphold the Constitution.  This should not surprise anyone.  The left is the party of violence not the right.  We just need weapons to protect ourselves from these insane people.
