WATCH: Underwoke? Bernie Gets Booed & Hissed at ‘She the People’ While Trying to Compete with the Cool Kids

Is America’s favorite rich uncle losin’ his appeal among the most woke? Has his New York cowfart-fightin’ niece taken his place as the nation’s best-loved socialist?

Could be.

On Wednesday night, Bern took the stage at Houston’s She the People conference. The “presidential forum” featured the Sandman, Pocahotmess Liz Warren (here), and abortion-up-to-birth proponent Kamala Harris, and others.

Bernie was asked how he’d fight that most dangerous of human scourges — the rise of evil white people:

“What do you believe is the federal government’s role to fight against the rise of white nationalism and white terrorist acts, and how do you plan to lead on that in your first year as president?”

After a castigation of ‘demagogue’ Donald Trump, Bern broke into talk of a hiked minimum wage, more robust (free?) healthcare, and a less constrictive border.

Perhaps that was remedial Woke; this crowd was in the advanced class. How’s the whitest man in America gonna fight the whitest threat in America?

The audience served up boos and hisses:

Bernie Sanders was asked by a woman of color in the audience what he would do about the rise of white supremacist violence as President.

Instead he started talking about minimum wage and Medicare For All.

Host Joy “the Mueller report is a cover-up” Reid went back to demoguer– I mean, asking about fighting whites.

Bernie latched on to that safest of references: Martin Luther King.

“Oh, right. Absolutely. I know I date myself a little bit here, but I actually was at the march on Washington with Dr. [Martin Luther] King back in 1963.”

But doggone it — it was a tough crowd. They rejected his offering like God’s response to a vegetable medley served by Cain.

The guy was heckled like Woody Allen making his 1935 Munich debut.

Bernie did hit a few balls, though. He was asked by an audience member what he’d do for black women, specifically.

Sanders hit a veritable cornucopia of wokeness: He called Trump “the most dangerous president in the modern history of this country,” downed the Commander-in-Chief’s “racism and his sexism and his homophobia,” and trumpeted “economic justice, social justice, racial justice, and environmental justice.”

Dang it, man — that’s a lot of justice.

Nicely done.

Bern has a lot of competition for the 2020 seat of all seats; anti-white-privilege white guy Beto O’Rourke — who inherited (and kept) $5 million and whose father-in-law is worth $500 million — is gonna be cruisin’ for the woke vote as much as anyone. And that dude rides a skateboard. Let’s see Uncle B top that. He’s probably a bit brittle to do a kickflip backside tailslide. Maybe he should get some Rollerblades and just see what’s what. First goal: the hockeystop.

‘Til then, the battle rages on.
