Bishop Carlton Pearson Pens Open Letter About "I'm Not Gay No More" Viral Video

Bishop Carlton Pearson wrote an open letter to address the I’m Not Gay No More viral video that has stormed across all social media platforms and brought laughter into the hearts of many viewers. In the letter Pearson slams the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) for being superficial while presenting this video as a miracle of deliverance. Pearson says while organizations are busy playing church, Oprah and Deepak have millions of people meditating and experiencing authentic transformation across denominational, ethnic and racial boundaries.

Pearson, at one time, was the senior pastor of the Higher Dimensions Evangelistic Center. He was ordained in ministry under the COGIC church and had one of the largest churches in Tulsa, Oklahoma which was later renamed Higher Dimensions Family Church. During the 1990s Pearson’s church had an average attendance well over 5,000 people and his annual Azusa conference’s attendance was at least 50,000 each year. This mega conference has given many ministries international recognition such as Dr. Myles Munroe, Joyce Meyers and even Bishop T.D. Jakes.
