The space agency will attempt another Martian landing today when its latest robotic probe, the InSight Lander, attempts to parachute down to the red planet at around 3pm EST. Launched in May with the intention of studying the planet’s internal temperature, wind and seismic activity among other vitals, InSight is primed for a battle when it enters Mars’ thin atmosphere and attempts to land on the arid planes of the Elysium Planitia.

Why Mars InSight Will Be a Mission of Firsts

According to NASA, only 40 percent of Martian expeditions are successful—owing to the thin air, scientific instruments often fail to slow down and crash on the rocky surface— which is why watching InSight’s descent this afternoon is most certainly worth your while.

There’ll be a bunch of live feeds broadcasting the probe’s journey and you can tune in anywhere free of charge, as long as you’ve got an internet connection. Here’s how to watch:
