Close encounters with UFOs are produced by the interaction of the human psyche with an external agent that connects it to an unknown expanded reality.

This happens because we are in the presence of a psychical paradigm, where the “vehicle” that moves from one reality to another, is our own actual being. And depending on the interaction of our psyche with this external agent, there will sometimes be a solidification of and to parts of the perceived phenomenon.

In other words, the “scene” represented before our eyes (the supposed extraterrestrial visitation), may contain matter, capable of leaving traces and marks on the ground.

Everything depends on the human factor and its potential to achieve the solidification, in our reality, of this authentic psychic architecture manufactured in conjunction with the external agent.

The diversity of the contacts (as observed in the UFO scenario) with this new expanded reality is determined by the participation (psychical and physical) of the witnesses.

The “event” originates as an exclusive, unique experience for the witnesses, produced in conjunction with the external agent, outside the “normality” of our daily (Cartesian) reality.

The existence of the external agent is the factor that makes possible this connection of the witnesses of the “anomalies” (unexpectedly) with an expanded reality, and is the factor that catalyzes the possibility that the experience may contain physical parts. In fact, religious mystics have shown that sometimes the psychic universe they access during their experiences can be quantifiable and responsible for alterations in our physical environment, the Jesuit Herbert Henry Charles Thurston studied these events and included them in his book “The Physical Phenomena of Mysticism” (1953). In his work “The Mystical Phenomenon” (199) Juan Martín Velasco said that mystics originated a great quantity of inexplicable physical phenomena around them such as: “luminous phenomena, telekinesis, hyperthermia, bilocation, emission of heterogeneous substances: special smells, tears and blood coming from images, lengthening of bodily organs, resistance to fire, different phenomena in relation to death: lack of cadaveric rigidity, unusual movements, heat and colors in the corpse, no corruption of the body after death, etc.”.

José de Cupertino (1603/1663), is an Italian saint, belonging to the Capuchin order, to whom more than 70 cases of levitation are attributed, in addition to being able to bilocate. The religious Veronica Giuliani began to physically present the stigmata of the passion of Christ in her body in 1693, after experiencing some mystical episodes. In addition, as noted Giuliani was able to levitate, multiply food and cause “odors of holiness.

The nun Sister Maria de Jesus de Ágreda is credited with the faculty of “bilocation” and of moving inexplicably from her convent in Agreda to New Mexico and Texas to evangelize the locals. In other contexts, within spiritism, the medium Daniel Dunglas Home (1833/1866) stood out in the 19th century. He was capable of a long list of prodigies; he produced noises, sounds, music and blows, levitations and movements of objects, altered the weight of objects, made lights or luminous phenomena appear in the rooms, causes smells, was able to make solid hands appear before those present, and with a human appearance, Dunglas himself was able to levitate.

The physicist David Böhm said: “Everything material is also mental and everything mental is also material.” The separation of the two is an abstraction. Therefore, it is not unreasonable to think that if there is some kind of “intelligence” external to the human being in this vast mental universe it can originate psycho/physical alterations in our environment when interacting with the witnesses of the anomalies (potentiating psychic qualities of certain witnesses).

Throughout history it has been documented how access to that other reality can have consequences on our physical environment. I believe that in this case, the existence of an external agent is what makes possible a greater presence of these physical factors, but always in concomitance with the witnesses, essential in the creation of these paradigms.
