Bob Lazar almost presents the History Channel's 3rd Unidentified Installment

The Ancient Alien show is presented on History before and after the channel’s new Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation show, which had its 3rd installment Friday (6/14/19).

The AA segment appeared right before this week’s Unidentified program and highlighted the once discarded Bob Lazar story about reverse engineering of a UFO at Area 51, the UFO using new element 115 for propulsion. AA tied Lazar’s tale to the Nimitz Tic-Tac encounter, attempting to give credibility to Mr. Lazar but maybe taking some credibility from Luis Elizondo’s show.

In Mr. Elizondo’s 3rd outing, time was given to UFO witnesses with no military affiliation who’ve spotted strange objects around Guadalupe, which lies in the waters where the Nimitz maneuvers took place in 2004 and Navy pilots spotted and captured images of the so-called Tic-Tac UFO.

Little was new in this 3rd showing, and the accounts of the witnesses could have been something from the early years of the flying saucer era.

For me, Luis Elizondo displays honesty and genuine interest in the sightings that the U.S. DoD has allowed for public scrutiny.

(And for those who insist I don’t know how TV manipulates viewers, let me remind them that I’ve been a media — print press, radio, TV — critic for 30 years, with laudable newspaper reportage of that activity, which has been applied to national and local news media.)

The show (Unidentified) can be a snoozer, and this installment was just that, for me.

But, again, I think, no matter what Mr. Elizondo’s actual credentials are, he’s a good guy with legitimate intentions and the sniping about him is ragged, almost despicable.
