Finishing Touches

I was determined to make my bedroom a magical place by the time I was done with it. I still need a dresser, but I went ahead and ordered 2 door decals that look like openings to other places (all a part of my weird other-dimensional faerie decorating idea). I have mirrors for some areas that I’ll be setting up, and some other things– but when the cast comes off, I want to finish my bedroom move-in. I still haven’t completely unpacked that room, and I really need to. More than that, I want it to be an impact room, small as it may be– a little creativity can go a long way!

I also ordered another bookcase for the nook area by my bedroom. I need one more to be able to have a place for ALL my books, plus maybe a couple of spots for larger decor items.

The living chair and dresser I’ll have to pick up in person I think. Maybe I’ll get the dresser with help from Cat for Yule this year… I’ll see.

I still need at least 1 more Hue lightbulb for my special vintage home-made lamp which will have a proud home on my highest dresser. Hanging a wooden beam over my biggest window for me to hang drapes off of is in the plans as well. That will really help to finish my look.

I’m SO restless! I have SO many ideas and plans and not being able to easily work on physical projects is driving me up a wall! I’m thinking if I can get what I need for later, at least I’ll be ready to jump in when I am able-bodied again. It’s helping me feel less helpless to just start getting things ready. Matching colors and styles and finalizing some ideas… there really isn’t much left now.

And then I can be in my personal dream space! =^)
