In high school (Grade 11), I founded a Flying Saucer Club (which got the okay and the club got academic credit, because the Principal was the father of one of my friends, his daughter.
At the inaugural meeting, where the President of the Club was to be selected, I gave my spiel, which was about having night-time get-togethers to look for flying saucers as we, the club members socialized – partied. And I emphasized all the fun we would be having in our club activities.
When the “election” of the Club President took place, I was out on my patootie!
Another guy, who took a serious stance was chosen.
This partying is what happening right now in many UFO quarters, among long-timers who’ve decided to forego serious UFO research for ship cruises, get-togethers at various venues for drinks and music, and many using their energies to soup up their Facebook pages with inane and banal photos of their social lives, family photos, and general pathetic activities that no one really cares about but still press the ‘Like” button. (I also give them a nod, sadly.)
Yet, I find a stalwart few still pummeling the UFO walkways with pertinent and intriguing UFO materials and relevant sidebars to the UFO phenomenon.
Bill Murphy, Chistian Savia, and the rest of Patrick Huyge’s Anomalist gang provide linked access to those who maintain a serious demeanor about UFOs and germane topics: Eric Wargo, Micha Hanks, and raft of other UFO die-hards.
(Eric Wargo offers material that isn’t UFO top-heavy but impacts the phenomenon in ways that other UFOers should be paying attention to. Chris Savia provided a note, Sunday [7/14/19], at The Anomalist listings about Leah Broussard’s “mirror universe” suggestion., particularly interesting.)
Yet, the partying, former UFO heavyweights ignore the peripheral suggestions of science and innovative UFO thinkers just to indulge in semi-hedonistic play, that is annoyingly silly.
Ufology, as such, has been watered down by this kindergarten attitude, because the players are or were UFO notables.
There’s nothing I can or say that matters as I’m on the fringe of Ufology myself, offering pearls before swine it seems.
But like John the Baptist, crying in the wilderness, I’ll persist in decrying the state of Ufology, since many of those who kept UFOs on an even and semi-serious keel are now gone or hiding out, ashamed at what is happening to their beloved hobby.

Just hold the video for a month. There are several reasons why the government may be asking for reports. I will tell you one of them that looks very likely. In the near past global positioning had to be updated, caused by the moving magnetic pole. Iron and other materials with magnetic properties change their fields in the new direction of the poles magnetic flux.
