Prep Updates 03/27/13

If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m not a huge fan of stockpiling precious metals.  I can see having some junk silver and a sleeve or two of eagles, but beyond that I find the expense simply ridiculous compared to what you could do with your cash elsewhere in the world of prepping.  However if stockpiling gold and silver is your thing, I say more power to you.  Here is a good video which was released by Peter Schiff which might interest you.

PJ:  First this was just Cyprus, now we have people in high office saying that others in the Eurozone could be scalped (savings accounts raided) in the future.  Won’t happen here you say?  We have the FDIC you say?  Impossible?  If you truly believe that I think your eyes are probably shut to the reality that is our world today.

PJ:  Ammunition is still out there for sale but the prices are ridiculous.  This is an interesting concept though, I’m not sure if we will ever get to the bottom of it.

PJ:  Good stuff, nice that he decided to make a statement.  Although I couldn’t help but notice the: “I took this picture of myself with my left hand while staring intently out of the HMMWV window” picture which was posted in the article.  I’m sure he wasn’t the first, or the last to do this.

PJ:  History has shown these occur again and again.  When the money gets tight the gov’t needs to raise funds somehow.

PJ:  This is simply ridiculous but I should not be surprised.
