Rhode Island Scores A Second 2nd Amendment Victory for a Second 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Town

Rhode Island continues its defiance against their tyrannical gun grabbing 2nd Amendment hating Governor Gina Raimondo. Gun right supporters and advocates make history turning the Town of Hopkinton into the second, 2nd Amendment Sanctuary adopting the same resolution the town of Burrillville, RI did just over a week ago.  Lead by  We The People of R.I. for 2A Sanctuary and many other gun rights organizations.

Within a short time after the Town Council meeting began at 7pm eastern Monday. An overwhelming support and sea of yellow shirts filled the Hopkinton Town Hall and over flowed into the street all awaiting the decision of the Town Council. The Town Council quickly moved to vote on this resolution and voted 3-2 in favor officially adopting the resolution of “2nd Amendment Sanctuary City” that denies any gun control laws to be enforced in the Town that are deemed Unconstituional. Governor Raimondo is on a relentless quest to ban semi-automatics what she classifies as “military assault style weapons”, high capacity magazines and to restrict law abiding citizens with concealed weapons permits to be within 300 feet or less near a school.  

Residence of the Town are proud of their town being it was named after former Governor Stephen Hopkins who was also of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence.  Many felt that it was that much more important to pass this resolution to  protect our God given and Constituitional right to protect ourselves that Hopkins helped pave the way for.

Almost 200 gun rights supporters showed their support, among them were Rhode Island State Senator Ellain Morgan, Rhode Island State Representative Justin Price, and many others that came out to support and encourage the Town Council to adopt this resolution that would protect The People’s right to keep and bear arms.

After a quick celebration, the mission was simply stated..  “On to Richmond”.  Richmond, RI is the next Town seeking to adopt this resolution and become the 3rd Town in Rhode Island to become a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary. This hearing takes place tonight May 7th at 7pm at the Richmond Town Hall, following several more towns within the course of the month.  

May 8th @7pm West Greenwich, RIat West Greenwich High School 

May 9th @7pm Foster, RI at Pain Elementary School

May 16th @ 7:30pm Glocester, RI Town Hall 

Many other Towns are in the works, Coventry, RI for one which is one of Rhode Island’s biggest cities which would be a huge victory for liberty. 

We are encouraging more people from all over the country to take action in this 2nd American Revolution turning their Towns, Cities and States into 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries that would send a message to the globalists and a long list of Progressive Presidential Candidates who seek to attack our gun rights that We The People mean business and we will not tolerate anyone to infringe on our 2nd Amendment or any of our rights at that.
