Second Amendment fever is heating up Rhode Island. Rhode Islander’s are sick of the State and it’s Governor’s constant onslaught attempts for the last six years trying to push and pass draconian Anti-Constitutional legislation. Even though Second Amendment supporters show up by the thousands compared to a hundred gun control advocates year after year. The gun grabbers still haven’t got the message yes, so Rhode Islanders are now taking it to the local level going town to town in attempt to turn each town into a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary City Resolution that sends a message to the state that we are not going to tolerate them constantly attacking our Bill of Rights and it’s 2nd Amendment.

Tiverton, RI after a two week battle at first voted down 4-3. Video of last week Councilwoman Nancy Driggs liked the idea but wished to change some of the wording on the resolution and voted against it until the resolution could be amended. Monday June 3rd, a second meeting was called to present the now amended resolution and it passed 4-3 in favor of the resolution making the town of Tiverton, RI the sixth town that adopted this 2nd Amendment Resolution with several other towns awaiting to hear and vote on the same resolution to follow in the next couple of months.

Both weeks the opposition in orange shirts, anti-gun right Moms Demand Action RI and The Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence came out in force to oppose the town of Tiverton on adopting this 2nd Amendment Resolution. But their numbers were nothing compared to the massive numbers of gun rights supporting yellow shirts that packed the Town Hall that consist of mostly Tiverton residents. Once again commonsense and Constitutional facts prevailed over the insane non-factual Bloomberg script rhetoric by gun grabbing leader Linda Finn and her small army of far left Progressives that hate gun rights.
