Trump Heroically Battles Nuclear Holocaust?
With nuclear WWIII looming, President-Elect Donald Trump again asserted late Sunday that lifting sanctions the US slammed on Russia and building a healthy relationship with the Soviets is a path to peace. Trump’s stand against North Korea, however, has pitted Russia and China against the US in a nuclear war.
Trump has been consistent on one issue: establishing healthier ties with Russia. Sunday, he suggested halting the existing US economic war against Russia by lifting sanctions.
“They have sanctions on Russia — let’s see if we can make some good deals with Russia. For one thing, I think nuclear weapons should be way down and reduced very substantially,” Trump said to two media outlets.
The interview was in the President-elect’s Trump Tower office, days before his inauguration.
“Having a good relationship with Russia,” he tweeted last week, “is a good thing, not a bad thing … We have enough problems around the world without yet another one.”
Nevertheless, global conflict tension escalated this weekend when Russia joined China in agreement to blast Trump’s lethal missile system in South Korea if he launches an attack as threatened. Chinese state-controlled news agency Xinhua reported that Chinese and Russian officials agreed to safeguard their security interests by preparing a series of “countermeasures” against South Korea’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) system, originally launched to counter Kim Jong-Un’s growing nuclear arsenal.
After the Chinese and Russian security meeting in China, Xinhua published a statement saying countermeasures would be prepared to achieve “strategic balance in the region.” China and Russia reportedly urged Trump and South Korean officials to stop deploying the THAAD system in a South Korean golf course. A US security expert stressed the President-elect is highly unlikely to give up the lethal system because of growing Chinese tensions, according to NAIJ.com news.
During his first press conference as President-elect, Trump stated that he “hopes” to get along with Putin because a relationship with Russia is “an asset not a liability”. James Mattis, a 66-year old retired general and former commander of US Central Command, said America’s chances of working with Russia were getting slimmer by the day.
“I think it’s under the biggest attack since World War Two sir, and that’s from Russia, from terrorist groups and with what China is doing in the South China Sea,” stated Mattis.
“Russia is raising grave concerns on several fronts and China is shredding trust along its periphery.”
64-year-old former ExxonMobil chief and Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson had said China’s access to the S. China Sea should be restricted. Global Times warned that Tillerson “better bone up on nuclear power strategies if he wants to force a big nuclear power to withdraw from its own territories”.
The Global Times added: “If Trump’s diplomatic team shapes future Sino-US ties as it is doing now, the two sides had better prepare for a military clash.”
Renowned American philosopher and political scientist Noam Chomsky says he was “frightened” by President-elect Donald Trump’s comments on “strengthening and expanding” nuclear capabilities in the US. Chomsky, professor emeritus at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), said Trump’s tweet about nuclear weapons last month was “one of the most frightening things I’ve seen recently.”
Meanwhile, Trump has the EU not only bracing for nuclear war, but also reeling from his comments this weekend. He said he would even go against NATO, that he has previously said needs to be dismantled. He expressed doubts about the way NATO operates and said he didn’t really care whether the European Union stays united.
“This day will be influenced if not determined by the statements of the American president-elect, which caused here in Brussels astonishment and agitation,” Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said. The minister spoke after Trump called NATO “obsolete” and said he thinks more countries will follow Britain’s lead and leave the EU.
In a joint interview with British newspaper The Times and German tabloid Bild, Trump seemingly suggested his presidency would usher in a major shift in the US. relationship with Europe and that the “UK. was so smart in getting out” of the EU.”
Trump described the EU as “a vehicle for Germany” and claimed “others will leave” the European Union because “people want their own identity.”
“Nearly 26 years after the end of the Cold War between the United States and the former Soviet Union, Washington and Moscow reportedly still have some 2,000 atomic weapons ready to fly at a moment’s notice to destroy each other.” (Press TV)
Trump re-asserted that NATO is “obsolete because it was, you know, designed many, many years ago” and countries aren’t paying their fair share of dues. “That being said, NATO is very important to me,” he added, in what has become a typical appearance of lack of impulse control, a justifiable grave concern hours before he has control of the nuclear button.

Russia having the largest nuclear arsenal has been that way for years . The reason we did not worry was because we had the largest explosion arsenal . That was up until recently . Russia now claims they have a nuke that could wipe out Texas , our 2nd biggest state . Plus they have a sub type device that could maneuver up to the eastern coast and Explode and cause a tidal wave that would wipe out the eastern coast line . Now with that said one of our presidents said it best , We should walk softly but carry a big stick . The thief will not invade your home knowing you have a large gun setting on the table beside you waiting for his stupidness trying to knock down his door . Those bragging they don’t believe in guns are his first homes to invade . Why because even stupid people know those without guns have no defense against gang invasions .
