It is thought that the fear of inflaming growing interest in National Socialism was behind media’s bizarre decision to censor all news of the passing of Edda Goering, the daughter of Germany’s greatest air ace and Luftwaffe commander.

The passing of Hitler’s goddaughter in December was not publicised. Edda always spoke highly of her Luftwaffe-commander father, she sought in vain to have returned family treasures looted by the Allies following the military defeated of the elected Reich on May 8, 1945.

The attractive Edda Goering died on December 21, 2018, aged 80 of unspecified causes, but her death was not made public. Local officials confirmed her death to media recently only when given the nod to that enough time had passed to make the occasion a non-event.

Edda Goering’s father was commander of the German Luftwaffe during World War II and was Adolf Hitler’s designated successor. After the war, Goering was arrested and ‘tried’ at the Nuremberg show trials. The tribunals have since condemned as a show trial by thousands of top Allied military commanders.

Perhaps knowing that extreme brutality preceded or accompanied inevitable death by rope strangulation the German air ace cheated his tormentors by taking a cyanide tablet the night before his killing was scheduled.

Edda Goering was born on June 2, 1938, to Hermann Goering and his second wife, actress Emmy Sonnemann. Edda Goering is believed to have spent much of her childhood at the family estate of Carinhall, northeast of Berlin. Goering has spoken well of her father. In a 1986 interview with Swedish television Goering said: “Because of the love and care of my parents, I had a very nice early childhood.”

She also believed in his inherent goodness and dismissed the victor’s account as propaganda. “I am convinced that my father believed that he was doing the best for Germany. My father was extremely popular, even abroad. He had the background, personality and natural warmth,” she said.

After the war, Edda Goering lived with her mother until the latter’s death in 1973. She worked as a medical secretary.

In 2014 she unsuccessfully petitioned German authorities in Bavaria to receive part of her father’s stolen assets, all legally acquired before the war. The Allies responsible for the theft of the family intellectual properties and legal assets never allowed the proof to be tested in the courts.

Edda Göring lived until her death in the Munich district of Lehel, she was buried in an urn grave. At the funeral only close acquaintances were there, it was said from internal circles. Apparently, she had ordered that the location of the grave site should not be disclosed. The cemetery administration gave no information.

Such is the unchristian vindictiveness of Germany’s conquerors who beforehand had brazenly rescued Bolshevism from liberation and in doing so added tens of millions of martyred Christians to the Bonfires of Bolshevism.

Hermann Goering, second marriage, the actress Emmy Sonnemann. This resulted in the daughter, who was named after Benito Mussolini’s daughter Edda. According to the media, Hitler was Edda’s godfather.
