Winston Churchill and Larry The Lamb

The dictionary describes revisionism as any advocate of doctrines or doctrines, theories or practices that depart from conventional doctrines, theories or practices from established authority or doctrine. Real historians, without a political axe to grind, are today falsely described as revisionist.

The copper-bottomed revisions are those who modify and distort real history. In this respect, warlord Winston Churchill comes off no better than does his accomplice the Soviet dictator Joe Stalin.

In fact, one of Churchill’s first acts upon becoming the wartime leader in May 1940 of a hastily improvised unelected cabinet was to halt intelligence surveillance on Soviet suspects.  This led to the wholesale infiltration of MI5 and MI6 by the Bolsheviks throughout the 1940s.  Britain’s head of MI6/SIS in the Iberian Peninsula was none other than the notorious British-Soviet spy, Kim Philby.

Many of the older generations may recall the BBC’s glove puppet Larry the Lamb and the Mayor of Toy Town.  The puppet was a popular children’s television series on the state-controlled Children’s Hour programme?  The hand in the glove puppet was also that of Norman Shelley. 

This was the same Norman Shelley who broadcasting imitated many of Churchill’s riveting Churchill BBC speeches such as ‘if the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years men will say this was their finest hour.’ 

Winston Churchill, during the war-torn evenings, spent at his countryside bunkers in the Home Counties.  Most Londoners were aware that he had been whisked away to the countryside whilst they endured nightly bombardments from a bombing campaign we now know were provoked by the deceitful Prime Minister.

Churchill was far too well-oiled to make dialogues other than slurred speeches. Ironically Norman Shelley was also the voice behind televisions children’s series, ‘The Pooh Bear.

Sternly, Churchill opined to parliament in radio broadcasts, “we shall fight them on the beaches.”

His comments are constantly recycled in books penned by palace writers and corporate-owned media. Never mentioned is which beaches and when? Churchill’s stirring words were lifted word for word from a rallying call by Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Italian revolutionary and nationalist who unified Italy during the tumultuous mid-19^thCentury.
