Retail listings show a 250 GB Xbox 360 with Final Fantasy XIII and two controllers packed in.
In the market for a premium Xbox 360 bundle, but Modern Warfare 2 just isn’t your style? There’s hope for you yet. According to a retail listing sent to Kotaku, a Final Fantasy XIII-edition Xbox 360 is on the way to the U.S. for $399.99.
In addition to the console itself, the bundle is said to feature two controllers, a copy of Final Fantasy XIII, and the same 250 GB hard drive that was included with the limited edition Modern Warfare 2 360. From the looks of things, the console and controllers are your typical, vanilla Xbox 360 hardware — unlike the swanky “Lightning Edition” PlayStation 3 that hit Japan.
Keep in mind that although the bundle certainly seems legit enough, none of this has been officially confirmed by Square Enix or Microsoft. With Final Fantasy XIII just a month away from its North American release, however, we’ll likely hear something around Microsoft’s X10 event this Thursday.
