Warning: US Commits Act of War

North Korea accuses the United States of trying to undermine an improvement in inter-Korean relations.

The Olympics have just ended, and already the US is back to hassling North Korea. The US has set up a naval blockade preventing any trades happening by sea. These new sanctions are putting what were to be peace talks with South Korea in danger. KCNA has said:

”The two Koreas have cooperated together and the Olympics was held successfully,”
“But the US brought the threat of war to the Korean peninsula with large-scale new sanctions on the DPRK ahead of the Olympics closing ceremony.”

Washington has been talking to regional partners, including Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Singapore, about squeezing despot Kim Jong-un eve further. China isn’t too happy about all of this. Both China and Russia have demanded that all sanctions go through the UN for approval, but it seems as though Trump has his own agenda in mind. President Moon of South Korea is urging that these stances be stopped so that peace talks between the North and US can begin to happen.
