Urgent! Fukushima, Super Typhoon 300KM/HR To Slam Tues. Worse Than Katrina

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Japan is bracing for this season’s first super typhoon set to slam as early as Tuesday with possible gusts well over 300km/h (188m,/h), according to Hong Kong Observatory predictions. If accurate, this storm will be worse than Katrina. Swells are already over 30 feet.

Typhoon Neoguri, now heading towards Taiwan and Hong Kong, is classed as a severe typhoon but is expected to swing around and head towards the south of Japan, strengthening. By then, it most likely will have developed into a super typhoon.

Experts say the monster typhoon will probably slam Japan on Wednesday with sustained winds of about 220km/h, while gusts may be well over 300km/h (188m/h).

A statement on the Observatory website updated at 10am today, said: “At 8am Severe Typhoon Neoguri was centred about 1,020 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa.

“It is forecast to move northwest at about 22 kilometres per hour towards the seas east ot Taiwan and the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands, and continue to intensify.”

With winds expected to reach 188m/hr, this storm is expected to be worse than Hurricane Katrina. Highest winds during Katrina were recorded at 174 mph (280 km/h).

Neoguri nearing Japan. Takes up our entire view. Wow.” – Reif Wiseman on Twitter: @astro_reid

The US Joint Typhoon Warning Center said wave heights in the Pacific Ocean are already hitting a maximum of 30 feet.

Officials have not reported on how the fierce storm will impact Fukushima.

An El Nino weather pattern this year, caused by a warming of sea-surface temperatures in the Pacific, is likely to give Hong Kong a wetter-than-usual winter and spring. (Emphasis added)

A burning question for many is whether this storm, like Katrina and Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest recorded in history, also has been triggered by weather weapons, “born out of a microwave anomaly.”

Weather weapons have the capacity to exacerbate global warming and subsequent historic super storms.

Prayer wheels spinning for our Japanese neighbors – and all others in this monster’s path.

If it hits Fukushima it’s game over.

No problem. You need to put it in perspective. Beforeitsnews is clear we’re economically collapsed every day. We’re in the middle of WW3. Alien leprechauns have landed the mother ship in Vancouver, to work with the Russians at herding you to a FEMA camp. Flee to the woods and Slenderman will get you, if the zombie apocalypse doesn’t first. Jaw dropping and bone chilling bogeymen you must see everywhere you look. These things are already upon us. Radiation from Japan will still take some time to arrive. By then, the leprechauns will have seen that we’re all guillotined by Janet Nepolitano.

The Hong Kong government weather website has a storm tracker here:

Edgar Cayce predicted that Japan would vanish it would go into the sea. He is looking more right all the time

      • DK

Japan may wish it vanished into the sea.

I.just looked at satellite images and there is massive cyclonic type storm south of Japan, I.would.not take this lightly. I.would strongly suggest that everyone to pray that this storm slides on by or the commenter right….GAME OVER.

For safe measure, should they be evacuating areas impacted by Fukushima? Before the magnitude 8+++ earthquake and tsunami, there were many magnitude 6 and 7′s earthquakes in that area. The geologists knew Japan is most prone to more major earthquakes and tsunamis. They should have evacuated before the huge earthquake and aftershocks and most terrible tsunami. A real problem now is that they have so much water surrounding Japan and so many nuclear power plants, they would have to evacuate a considerable distance to avoid these dangers. Japan has terrible problems; and Fukushima is already a wreck waiting to become a much worse wreck without any more external problems. I read that the end game with Fukushima are nuclear events that are the equal to more than 14,000 Hiroshima atomic bomb’s worth of radiation; and these Fukushima problems would eventually affect the world’s environment because of radiation. I also read that after World War II we, the United States, emphatically encouraged Japan to build nuclear power plants. My hopes and wishes are with Japan, and that the damage will be minimal.

Perfect Storm add one more reactor to the melting pot :?:
      http://rt.com/news/170800-fukushima-water-leak-temperatures/

    • DK

Reactor 4 building was hit by an internal nuclear detonation and has not existed for 3 years, the bulding had no fueled reactor in it at the time of the original detonation and it is the spent fuel from the storage ponds on its roof which have been scattered for 25 Klm around the site which contine to spontaneously ignite in Fukushimas ruins. What you see on the news is a fake, piles of rubble cannot collapse any further – there is no building to collapse.

If it exists at all it is a radioactive hole in the ground where broken spent reactor rods are rotting from being exposed to saltwater and set alight by their own internal temperatures from both chemical action and radioactive decay.

…so it doesn’t matter if the typhoon hits then? Is that what you are saying? :???:

    • Central Scrutinizer

Who reports things in km/hr? Unless you want to be just sensational. Pfffttttttt……

It’s 186 mph, and while it’s on the upper end of typhoon wind speeds, it’s not unheard of, and certainly not the 300 for dramatic effect (for the low-information types who eat up all the fear porn here on BIN).

      • Deborah Dupre

Central: “Who reports things in km/hr?” Answer: 95% of the world – none for sensationalism, my friend. Why doesn’t the US do the same?

        • Central Scrutinizer

Why doesn’t the US does the same???

Perhaps, because we are right!!!!

The metric system is utterly useless (evidence the push to get the US to change oh so many years ago that failed miserably……). Heh, heh…hee. He said udder…..

Take your stinking grams, meters, and liters , and hey, throw in the miserable Celsius scale, and shove it all into your Fear Porn pie-holes!!!!!!!

AND SERIOUSLY, driving on the left side of the road!?!?!? WTF.

    • WeBeDoomed

Is this really the first typhoon to hit this part of Japan since March 2011? I thought these things were seasonal?

      • Deborah Dupre

It’s the worst in 15 years, meteorologists say.

        • WeBeDoomed

          Oh cr*p!

    • Central Scrutinizer

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHA… Fear Pron strikes again.

It took very little actual research about the storm to uncover this-

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, crippled by an earthquake and tsunami in 2011, is on the other side of the country, which is likely to see rain, at the worst.
