So I sat down and subscribed.  The learning curve is steep.  Much steeper than my little brain can handle.  After using it several hours, I feel like the character in that Gary Larson Far Side; a kid in class with his hand up, “Teacher, may I leave now? My brain is full.”

For 27 years (anniversary on March 9, 2024), I’ve created comics with a great team of illustrators.  It was the best of times, it was the worst of times and a lot of wrath.  I still love working with my team, who is quite busy on their own projects, and I understand that, and there are times when they are able to still make time for this one, so you’ll be seeing a good many more of our regular color-illustrated toons.

Meanwhile,  I don’t know (with apologies to Jimmy Buffett), one of my favorite quotes by Jimmy…. “Is it ignorance or apathy? Hey, I don’t know and I don’t care.”

if people think cartoons created with a mouse look better or worse than our regular collaborations.  All that kind of thing is subjective.  I like some of our AI cartoons better and some of our hand drawn ones better.

And while I get great enjoyment that other people enjoy our work.  That is important.  But the most important thing for me is that I enjoy doing it, and at this point (I love to learn), I am learning so much, especially when working with AI masters like my wonderful wife Lee Hiller-London who shows me how to tackle various AI topics (I am far from mastering them) but it sure is a lot of fun.

And working with it makes it easy for me to see that it is an important part of today and the future of creative endeavors for many of us.  And I appreciate all the help I can get.
