Devagiri Zilla Parishad High School Marks Republic Day With Grand Celebration

Devagiri (BIN – IC): In a grand display, Devagiri Zilla Parishad High School in Bommanhal Mandal, Anantapur District, celebrates Republic Day with flag unfurling ceremony. Chairmen of School Management Committees unfurled the national flag as teachers and students paid homage. It is noteworthy that both chairmen bear the name Vannuru Swamy.

Explaining the distinction between hoisting and unfurling the national flag, ZPHS Head Master, Ramanjaneyulu said that on August 15, the tricolor flag is fastened at the base of the pole and then hoisted to commemorate India’s achievement of Swaraj. On January 26, during Republic Day celebrations, the tricolor flag is fastened at the pinnacle and subsequently unveiled. This symbolic act signifies the nation’s independence.

Suresh, the acting Head Master of the primary school, said that annually on August 15, the Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi. In contrast, on Republic Day, January 26, it is the President who unfurls the national flag.

Later, Raj Kumar, YSRCP local leader, distributed educational tablets to eighth-class students. Another local leader, Hanumesh, awarded Jeevan, a talented student in sports, with a certificate of appreciation.

The Republic Day program saw active participation from teaching staff members Panduranga, Jayalila, Mercy Vijayalila, Rajesh, Mahesh, Kavya, Sudhakar, and parents of the students.

అనంతపురం జిల్లా, బొమ్మనహాల్ మండలంలోని దేవగిరి జిల్లా పరిషత్ ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలో గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవాన్ని శుక్రవారం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. పాఠశాల నిర్వహణ కమిటీల చైర్మన్లు జాతీయ జెండాను ఆవిష్కరించగా ఉపాధ్యాయులు, విద్యార్థులు జెండా వందనం చేశారు. ఇరువురి చైర్మన్ల పేర్లు వన్నూరు స్వామి కావడం విశేషం.

జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగరవేయడానికి, ఆవిష్కరించడానికి ఉన్న వ్యత్యాసాన్ని జిల్లా పరిషత్ ఉన్నత పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు రామాంజనేయులు వివరించారు.  ఆగస్ట్ 15 న జాతీయ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని స్తంభం దిగువన కట్టి, స్వరాజ్యాన్ని  భారతదేశం సాధించిందనడానికి సూచనగా త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని పైకి లాగుతారన్నారు. జనవరి 26 న గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని పైభాగంలో కట్టి ఆవిష్కరిస్తారన్నారు. ఇది దేశం స్వతంత్రంగా ఉందని తెలియజేస్తుందన్నారు.

ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఆగస్టు 15 న దేశ ప్రధాని న్యూఢిల్లీలోని ఎర్రకోటలో జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగురవేయగా, గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం జనవరి 26 న రాష్ట్రపతి జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరిస్తారని ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల ఇంచార్జ్ ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు సురేష్ తెలిపారు.

అనంతరం స్థానిక వైసీపీ నేత రాజ్ కుమార్ ఎనిమిదవ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ ట్యాబులు అందజేశారు. మరో స్థానిక నేత హనుమేష్ క్రీడల్లో ప్రతిభను ప్రదర్శించిన విద్యార్థి జీవన్ కు ప్రశంసా పత్రాన్ని అందించారు.

గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో బోధనా సిబ్బంది పాండురంగ, జయలీల, మెర్సీ విజయలీల, రాజేష్, మహేష్, కావ్య, సుధాకర్, విద్యార్థుల తల్లితండ్రులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
