4. B.C. government asks Health Canada to ‘urgently’ make drug use in public illegal again

It is very unlikely that the BC govt. actually wants to reverse any odious drug policies. It is more likely that this is the kind of public propaganda campaign they push in order to glide their way to the finish line. Even if such a policy was enacted, we all know they would never enforce it. And as police are now more instruments of political will than law enforcement (as the military is also becoming) what the nearly all powerful state wants is in fact what we see around us. That is the only metric usable in terms of determining what the government at the various levels from municipal to federal to global actually want. For example, Pierre Poilievre pretends to admonish Trudeau for lack of housing and claims that under his leadership, we would rapidly build all the homes that are needed. The truth is, Trudeau, revealed through the Century Initiative, is tripling or nearly tripling the population of Canada through what is properly thought of as illegal immigration. The housing crisis, and for that matter some degree of food inflation, is caused by the rapid increase in population which doesn’t actually bring any new wealth or talent with it by proportion. When Poilievre talks about building homes he is doing what the CBC did during Covid. Pretending to challenge government policies by demanding the govt. do more of what they want to do and we did not want them to do. “Why does Ontario not have a curfew like Quebec does?” was one example we saw on MSM TV.

BC asking for a reestablishment of no drug use in public is theatre. Socialists/communists/progressives want the collapse of the nation state and all Western structures, even of thought. Liberalized drug use is a major weapon in that arsenal.
