This often-overlook verse at the end of Genesis 1 relates a substantial and important doctrine: God imputes value to his creation. His judgment of his creation is the basis of all objective reality and history. God’s image also imputes value. This is the basis of the marketplace in God’s creation. This phenomenon affects every single area of life. Without it, we have either tyranny or chaos in each one.
