Report The Facebook Blackout In Your Area Here! Why Is Facebook's Website Down This Morning?

UPDATE BELOW:

Many millions of people are waking up this morning, making a cup of coffee and logging into their Facebook account to check the daily news, share news, check messages from colleagues, friends and family, only to find out America’s favorite social media site is not working.

This has happened before, on Thursday September 23rd 2010, Facebook was down or unreachable for many people for approximately 2.5 hours. This is the worst outage Facebook has had in over four years.

Many Americans/Facebook users, feel our liberties are being trampled on. Many others speculate that one day there will be a EMP attack knocking down all communications. Yet others may feel that Obama will lock down the internet.  Facebook users this morning, are getting a taste of what it will be like if the government shuts down the internet or if there was a EMP attack on American soil. Many Facebook Junkies,(Like myself included) are jonesing right now for a fix of their favorite social media site.

We will have to wait for an official report from Facebook to learn what the problem is today.

Then go to the country you live in and click “Down In Which City” If the city you live in is already listed, click report, then click report off line.

If your city is not on the list, scroll down and fill out a comment in the comment section.

UPDATE: We have tried pinging Facebook website using our server and the website returned the above results. If facebook.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress…

The above graph displays service status activity for Facebook.com over the last 10 automatic checks. The blue bar displays the response time, which is better when smaller. If no bar is displayed for a specific time it means that the service was down and the site was offline.

Update II:

It seems FB users Nation Wide are all experiencing many of the same problems with this Facebook Blackout. Is this another test run to watch the peoples reaction?

Barrack Obama has let it be known that he is not happy with alternative news and social media, is this Obama punishing those who report the facts against his policies?

Update III:

It seems that FB is working now. The concenses is that this is another test run by the government, just like the EBT cards being shut down, power grid shut down in the east. It may be wise to prepare for alternative communication sytems now, before we experience a total internet failure, cell phone failure, or some other government manipulation of the general communication systems.
