DHS: Radical Islamic Refugees On Welfare In U.S. Return To Syria And Fight With Al-Qaida; Where Are They Now? DHS Has No Idea!!

Jeh Johnson, the director for the Department of Homeland security, released a statement saying Syrian refugees who fled Syria to come the United States under a protected status known as the TPS, are now our biggest domestic threat for terrorism.

Once again our government, under the direction of Barack Obama, has created a scenario that puts American lives in danger by allowing a flood of Syrian refugees into this country only to lose track of them when they return back to Syria to fight with Al-Qaida.

The American tax payer pays for these refugees to get here, live here and for a then for a DEPARTMENT of HOMELAND SECURITY, who has no idea how many left to fight with Syrian rebels and how many have come back radicalized and ready to blow things up.

This past June President Obama and the Department of homeland security gave the green light for more than 9,000 Syrian Refugees to come live in America under what is known as a TPS or “Temporary Protection Status”.  Living under a TPS refugees are permitted to work and travel in the United States. The 9000 refugees that entered  our country joined the over 2600 Syrian refugees living here already.  Although this program is suppose to be temporary it seldom is. 

Each year, the President of the United States consults with Congress to determine the regional number of refugees to be admitted into the country during the federal fiscal year. Over the past decade this presidential determination has allowed for up to 70,000 – 91,000 refugees to enter the U.S. 

When they enter the country they are met at the airport by a case manager, and then they are given shelter, food, medical exams, indoctrinated in US law, taught english and given permission to work … if they like.      This is a cost of war we seldom consider but the US taxpayer will foot the bill for these refugees coming into this country … and the cost for over 12,000 people will carry a high price tag.

 In Obama’s 2012 annual year end fiscal report to Congress the cost for refugee support in America came to a mind boggling $1,064,700,000   That figure did not include the costs associated with the Unaccompanied Alien Children’s Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Medicaid, or Supplemental Security Income programs. Nor did it include the cost for subsidized housing, food stamps, or  indoctrinating these people. The end cost could be anyone’s guess because also exempt from the total cost is any mention of the cost of violence many of these refugees bring with them or what the total cost of the Department of Homeland Security to monitor these people will be … “IF” they are monitored at all.

 In fact, Anzor Tsarnaev and his wife, parents of the so called “Boston Bombers”, came to the United States in early 2002 after gaining refu­gee status under the TPS.  Their two sons and two daughters followed “again” under the status of refugee. Their two Son’s would remain in America after they themselves returned to Chechnya, taking full advantage of every social program afforded them under the protected status of refugee.

Now the Obama Department of Homeland security is saying that the civil war in Syria has become a matter of U.S. homeland security over concerns about a small number of Americans who have gone to fight with Syrian rebels and returned home.

 U.S. intelligence officials have said a handful of Americans and hundreds of Europeans have already returned to their home countries. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the topic.  The State Department has no estimates of how many Americans have gone to fight with Syrian rebels, but British defense consultant IHS Jane’s puts it at a few dozen. An estimated 1,200 to 1,700 Europeans are among rebel forces in Syria, according to government estimates. 

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the Senate Intelligence Committee last month that al-Qaida groups in Syria have started training camps “to train people to go back to their countries” — one of the newest threats emerging in the past year to U.S. security.  Clapper told senators that as many as 7,000 foreigners from some 50 countries, including Europe, were fighting with rebels and extremists in Syria. 

To Johnson, it’s not just people joining the fight in Syria that are a concern.  “At the same time, extremists are actively trying to recruit Westerners, indoctrinate them and see them return to their home countries with an extremist mission,” Johnson said. “Syria has become a matter of homeland security.

DHS, the FBI and the intelligence community will continue to work closely to identify those foreign fighters that represent a threat to the homeland.” 

Much like his predecessor at Homeland Security, Johnson also said he is most concerned about “lone wolf” terrorists who haven’t received any specific training from al-Qaida or other terror groups but instead have become self-radicalized.  “In many respects, this is the terrorist threat to the homeland – illustrated last year by the Boston Marathon bombing – that I worry about most,” Johnson said. “It may be the hardest to detect, involves independent actors living within our midst, with easy access to things that, in the wrong hands, become tools for mass violence.”
