NY Police Choke Unarmed Peaceful Staten Island Man To Death (Video)

On July 17,2014, An unarmed Staten Island man by the name of Eric Garner was choked to death by the NY Police during a brutal arrest in which they also slammed his head on the pavement for the suspected crime of selling cigarettes without permission from the government.  The murder occurred when Eric Garner ( Who is described by witnesses that were on scene as a “gentle giant”) was standing on a sidewalk where he apparently had just tried to keep the peace by breaking up a fight that was in his vicinity.  As officers approached Eric, you can hear him say on the cell phone video “Every time you see me you want to mess with me,” Garner told NYPD. “I’m tired of it. It stops today!”

“Why you touching me? I didn’t sell anything!” Garner insisted. “I was breaking up a fight,” he added. Witnesses corroborated the account. Well, I guess the officers didn’t like that their subject was giving them lip, because all of a sudden, five officers rushed him and started assaulting him.  

Another eyewitness Taisha Allen described Eric Garners murder by NY police this way:  “The cops slammed him to the ground and threw the handcuff on him,” said Taisha Allen, who saw the confrontation. “I saw saliva and blood coming out the side of his mouth. It was awful that something like this had to happen.”

Eyewitness Gordon Benson said this about the police murder: “When he was on the ground, they kept holding him by the neck,” witness Gordon Benson recalled. “He just gasped and then stopped moving.”

So, there you have it ladies and gentlemen, yet another innocent man murdered at the hands of the police state. I am so disgusted by what is occurring with the militarized training of our peace officers that continually results in the needless death of American citizens.  Maybe if we start to actually hold these murderous cops accountable for there crimes against the American People it may actually stop.
