Thunderbird Spotted in St. Louis, Missouri!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Famous You Tuber Dutchsinse says he may have possibly spotted the mythological ‘Thunderbird’ as he filmed a large storm outside of his home located in Southside of St. Louis, Missouri at about 10:48 p.m. C.S.T on September 1st, 2014.

He stated that he was going to make a new video where he would zoom into the bird a few hours after that upload. He hasn’t as of yet. He may have called that out too soon and realized that shortly after examining the film more closely. I would be excited too if I saw something very large in the dark night skies during a thunderstorm in an area where the mythological ‘Thunderbird’ has been spotted in the past. I can’t blame the man. Dutchsince does great work and be sure to like his channel.

Here is the starting poing in the clip where Dutch states that he may of seen the ‘Thunderbird’.

This is brief background on the ‘Thunderbird’. The ‘Thunderbird’ is a mythological creature identified in Native American Indian traditions with wingspans of 12ft to 18ft.

There have been many reports over the years of this bird. Supposedly, in 1890 out of the Arizona Territory desert, two cowboys spotted a huge flying created and blasted it out of the sky.

Another story, which took place back in 1970, where a man named Harry McClure, knew of a cowboy when he was just a boy, which shot at a bird with a wingspan of 20 to 30 feet!

Ken Gerhard is a world renowned Cryptologist. This is what he has to say about the ‘Thunderbird’ from his extensive years of research:

“In the course of my Thunderbird research, I receive many reports that seem to blur the lines between raptor type birds and pterosaurs. As this new find clearly illustrates – It is sometimes difficult to draw the line between birds and archaic reptiles.”

“Often associated with storm fronts”  – Ken Gerhard

His website: http://kengerhard.com

“There are two types of Thunderbird stories, which are the ‘helpful thunderbird’ and the ‘dangerous thunderbird.”

“There were a string of sightings which occurred in the 1970s in Alaska, Illinois, Texas”.

“The Piasa Bird (pronounced Pie-a-saw), is a local legend in the Alton area. Its foundings go back to 1673 when Father Jacques Marquette, in recording his famous journey down the Mississippi River with Louis Joliet, described the “Piasa” as a birdlike monster painted high on the bluffs along the Mississippi River, where the city of Alton, Illinois now stands.”  – http://www.altonweb.com/history/piasabird/
