Pope Francis & the Prophecies of St Malachy

By ROBERT HOWELLS

We think of prophecy as a revealing of information that can include warnings or spiritual insights. In the Old Testament, prophets were revered and the wisdom they imparted considered of the highest authority. They acted as a conduit to divine revelation as the will of God was revealed to them through communication with the Holy Spirit.

Christianity was built upon a Messianic figure whose coming was prophesied in the Old Testament books of Daniel and Isaiah. Yet in recent times, prophecy has fallen out of favour within the Church. Respect is still given to the biblical prophets such as Isaiah and St John of Patmos, to who is attributed the Book of Revelation, but the Catholic Church has refused to condone any post-biblical prophetic utterance as being true regardless of the source.

In spite of this, seers continued to add to the great body of prophetic work throughout history. Hildegard von Bingen, Nostradamus, numerous saints and even some of the popes were compelled to share their visions of the future. The accuracy of some of their prophecies cannot be denied.

An example was Mother Shipton, a 16th century English prophetess who appeared to have a clear vision of the 20th century and the Second World War. Her writings include: “Carriages without horses shall go. Around the world thoughts shall fly, in the twinkling of an eye. Underwater men shall walk, women will dress like men and trousers wear, and cut off all their locks of hair. When pictures look alive with movements free. When ships, like fishes, swim beneath the sea. When men, outstripping birds, can soar the sky, then half the world, deep-drenched in blood, shall die.”

Shipton’s writings have an apocalyptic feel and like many prophecies, biblical or otherwise, share a common theme in describing the End Times. This is known to Christians as eschatology.

Another widely accepted example of prophecy concerns the Great Fire of London. Three famous seers, Nostradamus, Mother Shipton and the astrologer William Lilly, all predicted a fire would engulf London in 1666. Astrologer Lilly was so accurate in his divination that he was able to name the actual day the fire would start, and as a result he was arrested and dragged before Parliament accused of having caused it himself. He managed to prove otherwise and was set free.

The above examples were not a matter of coincidence or luck, nor were the seers attempting to gain fame or credibility. They were simply communicating these foresights as inevitable facts of what had been revealed to them through divination or vision.

Members of the Catholic Church also continued to produce prophecies by those blessed with visions and among these stood St Malachy of Armagh, a devout Catholic bishop who helped to reform Ireland during the dark days of the 12th century.

St Malachy

According to the historian Cucherat, Malachy received a vision during a visit to Rome wherein he had witnessed every pope from that day to the Last Judgement. Known as the ‘Prophecies of the Popes’, these were recorded as 112 brief Latin descriptions, which were clues to the identities of the popes from medieval times to present day. The prophecies conclude with the last pope whom Malachy predicted would oversee the end of the papacy and the fall of the Roman Catholic Church.

It is said that Malachy bestowed these prophecies upon the then current pope after which they were deposited in the Vatican and remained hidden for nearly 400 years.

The Release

The prophecies were rediscovered in the Vatican archive in 1590, and published in 1595 by Arnold Wion in his publication Lignum Vitae. Wion claimed these were the authentic prophecies as had been penned in the 12th century by St Malachy.

The sudden ‘rediscovery’ of the prophecies in the 16th century allowed them to be used as propaganda in the campaign to promote Pope Gregory XIV to the throne. Since that time, debate has raged over whether the prophecies were a fabrication purely invented for this purpose. However, when studying the accuracy of the prophecies from both before and after publication, it seems unlikely they are complete fakes.

Accuracy

When the prophecies were published in 1595, the corresponding pope for each prophecy up to that date was known and could easily be identified. In the centuries since then, many have poured over these sayings seeking evidence of a connection in the lives of subsequent popes. The brevity of the text in the Latin phrases allows for some room for interpretation, but many are very specific and in no way as vague as one might expect. For a document that is at least 400 years old, there has always been a certain degree of accuracy.

A possible explanation for this would have been if the papal elections were somehow influenced by the prophecies, but there are many examples that refute this.

The prophecy for Pope Pius VII could not have been contrived. His reign coincided with the rise of Napoleon whose fame and power overshadowed the pope considerably. The prophecy for the time of Pius was “rapacious eagle,” and the eagle was the symbol by which Napoleon was identified.

Another important example of the accuracy of the prophecies is the reign of Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922) in which he witnessed the Bolshevik Revolution outlaw Catholicism in Russia, the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic that ravaged Europe and the outbreak of the First World War which killed a further 20 million people. His correlating prophecy was “religion depopulated.” It must be noted these world events could not have been averted so it would not have mattered which pope reigned during this time. The prophecy is linked to the timing of historic events and not to the man, but it is clear the link to the pope could not have been contrived in any way.

Other prophecies were also based upon external factors such as the location of the conclave, historic events or feast days that coincide with the election. Clement IX (1667-1669) was prophesied as the “Swan constellation.” He was elected in the ‘Chamber of Swans’ within the Vatican, but any cardinal could have been elected in that place and would have fitted the prophecy. This does not invalidate the prediction, but it changes the focus from the identity of the individual to the environment.

Further evidence for the sustained accuracy of the prophecies can be seen in Pope Clement XIII (1758-1769), whose prophecy was “Rose of Umbria.” Clement was a former governor in Umbria which has a rose for its state emblem. Pope John XXIII (1958-1963), whose prophecy described him as “priest and mariner,” was previously the Cardinal of Venice, and Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903) is described in the prophecies as “Light in the heavens.” His coat of arms shows a shooting star. This example and numerous others are accurate 700 years after the time of being inscribed, and 400 years following publication.

Pope Innocent XII (1691-1700), whose prophecy translates as “Rake in the door” had the surname Rastrello, Italian for rake, and originally had a rake on his family coat of arms. This has to be the most accurate and one of the hardest to contrive. Innocent’s election came at the end of a very difficult five-month-long conclave, so it is unlikely his selection was a simple attempt to fulfil prophecy.

The Final Pope

The ‘Prophecies of the Popes’ join that long tradition of apocalyptic prophecy by concluding with a final pope, “Peter the Roman” who is destined to witness the destruction of Rome and the Last Judgement.

In the final persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge His people. The End.

According the ‘Prophecies of the Popes’, the time of the last pope is finally upon us.

On 13 March 2013 Jorge Mario Bergoglio, hailing from Argentina, became the first non-European pope for 1,300 years. As Pope Francis, he is proving popular, as his displays of humility and focus on poverty are fast becoming the stuff of legend.

The identification of Pope Francis as Peter the Roman requires no great leap of deduction. Members of the Curia are automatically referred to as being Roman, having held a position in the Vatican administration. Bergoglio previously held five such positions in the Roman Curia. The links to the ‘Peter’ aspect of the prophecy were less clear until Bergoglio chose his papal name from Saint Francis of Assisi, whose full name was Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone – Pietro meaning Peter.

There is a precedent for this with Pope Paul IV who was elected in 1555. The prophecy described him as “from the faith of Peter.” Paul’s middle name was Peter.

Challenging Times

The timing of the ‘many tribulations’ of the prophecy may also seem apposite as there are many challenges on the horizon that threaten to unseat the new pope and bring to an end one of the oldest institutions in the world. For nearly 2,000 years the Catholic Church has been besieged by persecution and threats of invasion, but in recent years those armies have receded and been replaced by the judgments of the press and public opinion.

The three main challenges facing the Catholic Church today are the exodus of members from both the priesthood and congregation, corruption within the Vatican bank and the scandal of child abuse.

In terms of addressing the loss of the faithful, Pope Francis can speak directly to the wider audience of disillusioned priests and parishioners. His Argentinian birth and Jesuit background is well suited to stemming the exodus from Catholicism sweeping through South America where over 75 million Christians have converted to Pentecostalism.

Poverty is a huge issue between the clergy of South America and the Vatican as there is so much wealth in Rome, and yet, so many Catholics worldwide are mired in destitution. Pope Francis is devoted to alleviating the suffering caused by poverty, and as Archbishop of Argentina, he refused to live in the palace assigned to that role and would travel on public transport to visit the poorest people in slums and prisons.

He may have good intentions for mitigating poverty, but first he will need to put the Vatican finances in order in the wake of the banking scandals that dogged his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI. There is also a possibility that in terms of financial fluidity, Pope Francis may find the Vatican coffers are already empty, and he cannot easily sell off the family silver.

The issue of child abuse speaks to a deeper problem. The vow of celibacy, which was inspired by the passage in Matthew 19:12 where Jesus actually refers to eunuchs, is an attractive factor to paedophiles who have shame around their sexuality and wish to suppress it. Consciously, they choose celibacy while unconsciously they are putting themselves in a position of power over minors. Pope Francis needs to realise the shackles of celibacy deter new priests from joining, and it is an attractive factor for paedophiles entering the Church. He might also reconsider the Vatican’s stance on marriage and open the doors to female priests to help transform the Church.

Conclusion

Pope Francis is well suited to address the challenges facing the Catholic Church, but in the shadow of a 700-year-old prophecy, he may find that fate has other plans for him. Christianity is an apocalyptic religion and it might be within reach of its conclusion: the Rapture clothed in death and destruction.

We can only wonder if the Roman Curia will truly embrace that of prophecy, or if they are hoping to maintain the status quo.

In the end, they might not have a choice.

This Pope is nothing but a “Forrest Gump”…he mumbles things and leaves it to others to try and figure out what he said.
He is an idiot, to boot.

martin was a disinfo agent of the zionist church takeover. see vatican 2 and note that the changes made at that time all benefit jews and israel, by and large.

there hasn’t been a “real” pope since pope pious.

like our politics, media and everything else, zionists/communists/satanists are running the show.

On the contrary: Firstly, it is well known that St. Malachy’s list was altered or tampered with. Secondly, many Catholic mystics, saints, visionaries, etc have indicated that there are to be at least three or four more popes.

In fact Father Herman Kramer wrote a commentary of the Apocalypse in 1956 after 30 years of studying all the teachings of the Church by the Doctors, Saints, Popes, Fathers over the centuries concerning the Apocalypse. He takes the Apocalypse sentence by sentence, using his knowledge of the ancient languages, translations, custioms, sayings, etc, and shows that Revelations is in fact a history, in order, of the Church until the end of the world.

Now, in relation to the Popes, both Fr. Kramer and dozens of Catholic saints, who also had visions of the coming calamaties, all agree on the following:

A pope dies in the spring of a year resulting in a “disputed” election (this became possible during the reign of Pope John Paul II who ruled that after so many ballots have not produced Pope, the % needed goes from 75% to 51% of the eligible votes – inviting a dispute). The “real” Pope takes the throne of St. Peter with the runner up disputing the election in his favor. Immediately, this new Pope condemns all the evil in the Church and world, he returns all the “former disciplines”, meaning the Old Mass, doctrines, laws, etc, and excommunicates all the infiltrators in the Church. The world goes immediately into massive civil war and revolution for a few months, the most violent in history, then follows immediately WW3, where Russia unites with all of Islam, China and their other allies to attack all of Europe and the West. Many Catholic mystics and saints have given detail of this coming very soon WW3.

The elected Pope has to flee Rome, he is hunted down and killed (; the disputing Pope, or Anti-Pope then ascends the throne of St. Peter, he too dies after a year, then no pope for a few years during WW3. At the end of WW3, St’s Peter and Paul themselves come down and assist to elect the new Pope with the remaining Bishops. This Pope is not only a “real” saint, but perfoms many miracles. Following him comes one to three more Popes until Peter II.

St. Malachy’s list – which has been tampered with in the past is only “one” of dozens of Catholic prophecies on the coming popes.

All the other prophecies mention and indicate three to five more popes at the least. Take it to the bank, that anyone who thinks this is the last pope has been misled, is ignorant of the majority of Catholic prophecy from dozens of saints and mystics, and is in for a let down to say the least.

The idea that we have reached the final pope on Malachy’s list fits well with many other interpretations of end times prophecy. For a quick video on evidence pointing to a timeline of the final seven years wrapping up soon, watch

Every Reformer, without exception, spoke of the papacy as Antichrist” -R. Allen Anderson, Unfolding the Revelation, p.137

Arnulf Bishop of Orleans (Roman Catholic)
“deplored the roman popes as “monsters of guilt” and declared in a council called by the King of France in 991ad that the pontiff, clad in purple and gold, was, “Antichrist, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself as God” -Phillip Schaff, History of the Christian church, 8 vols., reprint of the 3d (1910)ed. (Grand Rapids Mich.: Wm. B Eerdmans Publishing Co., n.d.)

Eberhard II, archbishop of Salzburg (Roman Catholic)
“stated at a synod of bishops held at Regensburg in 1240 (some scholars say 1241) that the people of his day were “accustomed” to calling the pope antichrist.” -LeRoy Edwin Froom, The Prophetic Faith of our Fathers, 4 vols. (Wash DC: Review and Herald publishing assc, 1950-1954)

      John Wycliffe
“When the western church was divided for about 40 years between two rival popes, one in Rome and the other in Avigon, France, each pope called the other pope antichrist – and John Wycliffe is reputed to have regarded them as both being right: “two halves of Antichrist, making up the perfect Man of Sin between them.” -Ibid

      Martin Luther (Lutheran)
“We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist…personally I declare that I owe the Pope no other obedience than that to Antichrist.” (Aug. 18, 1520) Taken from The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, Vol. 2., pg. 121 by Froom. (In response to a papal bull [official decree]): “I despise and attack it, as impious, false… It is Christ Himself who is condemned therein… I rejoice in having to bear such ills for the best of causes. Already I feel greater liberty in my heart; for at last I know that the pope is antichrist, and that his throne is that of Satan himself.” –D’Aubigné, b.6, ch. 9.

      Cotton Mather (Congregational Theologian)
“The oracles of God foretold the rising of an Antichrist in the Christian Church: and in the Pope of Rome, all the characteristics of that Antichrist are so marvelously answered that if any who read the Scriptures do not see it, there is a marvelous blindness upon them.” Taken from The Fall of Babylon by Cotton Mather in Froom’s book, The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, Vol. 3, pg. 113.

      John Wesley (Methodist)
Speaking of the Papacy he said, “He is in an emphatical sense, the Man of Sin, as he increases all manner of sin above measure. And he is, too, properly styled the Son of Perdition, as he has caused the death of numberless multitudes, both of his opposers and followers… He it is…that exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped…claiming the highest power, and highest honour…claiming the prerogatives which belong to God alone.” Taken from Antichrist and His Ten Kingdoms by John Wesley, pg. 110.

Ellen G. White: Seven Day Adventists
“This compromise between paganism and Christianity resulted in the development of “the man of sin” foretold in prophecy as opposing and exalting himself above God. That gigantic system of false religion is a masterpiece of Satan’s power–a monument of his efforts to seat himself upon the throne to rule the earth according to his will.

      Thomas Cranmer (Anglican)
“Whereof it followeth Rome to be the seat of antichrist, and the pope to be very antichrist himself. I could prove the same by many other scriptures, old writers, and strong reasons.” (Referring to prophecies in Revelation and Daniel.) Taken from Works by Cranmer, Vol. 1, pp. 6-7.

Roger Williams (First Baptist Pastor in America)
He spoke of the Pope as “the pretended Vicar of Christ on earth, who sits as God over the Temple of God, exalting himself not only above all that is called God, but over the souls and consciences of all his vassals, yea over the Spirit of Christ, over the Holy Spirit, yea, and God himself…speaking against the God of heaven, thinking to change times and laws; but he is the son of perdition (II Thess. 2).” Taken from The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers by Froom, Vol. 3, pg. 52.

      1689 London Baptist Confession

Chapter 26: Of the Church. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, in whom, by the appointment of the Father, all power for the calling, institution, order or government of the church, is invested in a supreme and sovereign manner; neither can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof, but is that antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the church against Christ, and all that is called God; whom the Lord shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. ( Colossians 1:18; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11, 12; 2 Thessalonians 2:2-9 )

      John Knox (Scotch Presbyterian)
Knox wrote to abolish “that tyranny which the pope himself has for so many ages exercised over the church” and that the pope should be recognized as “the very antichrist, and son of perdition, of whom Paul speaks.” Taken from The Zurich Letters, pg. 199 by John Knox.

      John Calvin (Presbyterian)
“Some persons think us too severe and censorious when we call the Roman pontiff Antichrist. But those who are of this opinion do not consider that they bring the same charge of presumption against Paul himself, after whom we speak and whose language we adopt… I shall briefly show that (Paul’s words in II Thess. 2) are not capable of any other interpretation than that which applies them to the Papacy.” Taken from Institutes by John Calvin.

However dear Father: We also have from Scripture, Fathers, Saints and even Popes of the “Great Apostasy” in the Church, which is now happening and the majority of priests follow like lost sheep.

Fr. Dollinger, German Theologian and personal friend of Cardinal Ratzinger, frequent visitor to the Vatican, and highly respected, did ask then Cardinal Ratzinger in 2000, shortly after concelebrating a morning Mass with him, if the whole of the 3rd Secret of Fatima had been revealed as implied by Cardinal Bertone. Cardinal Ratzinger replied: “Our Lady warns there will be an evil council. And she warns against the changes; She warned against making changes in the t liturgy; changes in the Mass. This is explicitly set forth in the Third Secret. Fatima Crusader Issue’s #80, p32 & 92, p 7.

St. John Bosco also warned of a bad council in the 20th. century that would through the Church into turmoil.

Many Catholic saints, mystics, warn of great chastisement, that the Church and the Hierarchy would abandon the faith and apostatize from the true faith of Christ.

ardinal Mario Luigi Ciappi, Dominican Theologian to three Popes, stated in his letter to Professor Baumgartner that in the Third Secret it is revealed, among other thins, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top – Pope John XXIII and Vatican II, etc. Now we have a bonafide Marxist, Liberation Theology Pope, whose every effort is to destroy the faith and the Church, to build a new Church based on man, his passions, desires and lusts.

It behooves me that the majority of the Catholic Church have followed this evil council into this great apostasy, but that is exactly what the saints have warned would happen. Yes, we have the promise of Indefectability, but that does not mean that the Hierarchy will not nor would not attempt to abandon the faith, it means that in the last hour God will come to the aid and save the Church, why else would God even give us such a promise if He did not already foresee the great abandonment of the faith. Homosexual priests, priests educated in modernist propaganda and Marxist ideology.

And then Pope Benedict comes out and declares that the Tridentine Mass was never Obrogated or Abrogated, meaning, according to Catholic doctrine and Canon Laws, the Tridentine Mass is still the de facto and primary Mass of the Latin rite. The Novus Ordo is nothing but a Protestant/Masonic shame.

In the Life of Blessed Catherine Emmerich, by the Rev. Carl Schmoger, C.SS.R. Volume 1 – Our Lord tells Blessed Emmerich in the early 1800′s that New Mass would come that would be “Impious” in His sight.

To Marie-Julie Jahenny, the Briton Stigmatist, Our Lord tells her in 1904, that a “New Mass” will come that will be “Odious” in His sight.

Dear Father: We know that the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Roman Church is the true faith, but it is also a fact of Scripture, the teachings of the Fathers, Doctors, Saints, and holy souls, that a great apostasy would come to the Church, that the “Hierarchy: would attempt to abandon Christ and His Church, as they do now, for shame.

St. Nilus/5th. cent – St. Hildegard/13th. cen. – Venerable Marianna de Jesus Torres (Our Lady of Quito)/17th. cen. – Blessed Elizabeth Canora Mora/18th. cen. – Blessed Catherine Emmerich/19th. cen. – Marie-Julie Jahenny/19 & 20th. cen. and Blessed Elena Aiello/20th. cen. among many others, absolutely and particularly mentioned that in the “20th century” the Church would be infected with many heresies and errors, that the light of the faith would be extinquished in the clergy. And as was told at La Salette, “Rome would become the seat of anti-Christ”.

Among all these warnings are those of a great chastisement, a WW3 preceded by the most violent civil war and revolution in history in the West and America for their sins, and of course in the end will come the peace Our Lady has promised, but only after God’s justice has been appeased.

And lastly – in regards to Our Marxist Popes comment – “who am I to judge” – what an uncatholic, sacrilegious, and absolutely anti-Christ thing to say.

Our Lord told St. Catherine of Sienna: That even the devils, who tempt the soul to this excess (homosexuality) leave the room in disgust and shame, as this terrible despicable sin is an affront to even their angelic character. What shame the Church now exhibits, what apostasy from the faith.

In 1968, the Roman authorities raided the radical and violent P2 Masonic Lodge in Rome, during which they discovered the membership list of all the members of this lodge, their initiation dates, initiation names and so forth, in this list, which was then published in the major Italian papers, were the names of over 101 Catholic Cardinals, Archbishops and Prelates, including the then Secretary of State Cardinal Villoit. It is quite observable, from Nostra Aetate, to the dealing with the Jews, that Judeo/Freemasonry has heavily infiltrated the Catholic Church up to the top.

Fr. Luigi Villa, who was commissioned by Pope Pius XII to find and expose all of Judeo/Freemasons in the Church, presented a few years back, documentation to the Sacred Congregation of the Cause of the Saints, proof, the Pope Paul VI was indeed a Freemason, Communist, Homosexual and possibly a “Marranos” or secret Jew (his mother was a Jew).

Yes, God will in the end put things aright, but many a priest and catholic will end up in hell for their loss of faith and for their support and participation in this great apostasy against God and His Church. And how many Catholic souls are now being lost because they belief this Marxist Popes anti-Catholic statements, like, all can go to heaven, you don’t have to be Catholic, who am I to judge, who makes cause with heretics, Jews, Masons, Marxists, and persecutes those who attempt to hold on the the age old and true faith. Ahh was it in Dante’s Inferno, where is said that the most terrible place in hell, the deepest and most excruciating, is reserved for “priests” who did not fulfil their duties and were responsible for the many sacrileges and loss of so many souls today.

Do continue to say your “Novus Ordo” your Protestant/Masonic Service called a mass, to your own detriment. Six Protestant Ministers and the Freemason Archbishop Buginni, were the authors of this great affront to God, this Impious and Odious Mass.

Yes, I do pray for the pope, even if later he is condemned as an anti-pope, which is not beyond happening, and God will come to our aid – but the price is going to be terrible as Our Lady of Akita Japan said, that what is coming is more terrible than the great flood, there will be a revolution in the Church and world.

And Our Lord said: :Until the Consecration of Russia is done to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, by the Pope in “union” with all the Bishops of the world, Russia by name, until then the Church and world will continue to fall into ruin.

        • NWO for Dummies.

Russia has been consecrated in an acceptable manner as Our Lady said it would thats why it is the only discernible light in this dark world. Could you have said the same about Breshnev and his sucessors up until Putin? I think it is not possible. Or those before him. Stalin, Kruschov, Lenin. hmm.
          Think not again.

Besides what are the chances of the current lot in Rome doing anything in that regard…the answer is zero.

        • cece

Jesus never said that about Russia being consecrated to His Mother Mary. If He did, and you have biblical proof, please cite the book and verse. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” He did not say that to get to Him or the Father, you go thru Mary.

        • NWO for Dummies.

One should consider that the main thrust of the attack on the Christian church throughout the ages has come from Talmudic “Jews”. “those who say they are jews but are not but do lie but who are of the synagogue of Satan” (Revelations)

The part that concerns you is the part where Luther was set up by Talmudic Jews to divide the christian church in the 16th century, just as they did with false pope john XXIII 400 years later with his so called “Second Vatican Council”

The story is not complete without the third pivotal part of the last 1000 years ie since the split with the east in 1080AD another Talmudic operation no doubt, the fault of which can be squarely placed with Rome, but thats getting off topic a little bit.

As I said the 3rd part of the pivotal breakup of the christian church is the election of the prophet of the antichrist, the second beast of the book of Revelations to the papacy which makes the destruction of the catholic church compete.
          – and we are also passing over here Rome’s failure to allow an agreeable China into the church during the Jesuit outreach in the 16th century.

@ jarheadusmc, I read your long article and some partsof it seems to fit in with reality,
but why do you insult Pope Paul VI?
This man did good work, and his publications / encyclicae / speeches showed no signs of deviation from the original Catholic dogma. Which reason do you have to suspect him to be a Freemason?
He also never was a Communist, for why then would he have honored the 100% conservative, anti-Marxist Cardinal Mindszenty, who had been tortured, inprisoned for years and at last exiled by the Hungarian Communists, by a concelebration in Rome at his right side and by other very unusual acts of respect?

      I am an “ex Catholic”.
      of course such a person probably is not considered worth your attention;
being super-loyal toward the Roman church you surely think
that everyone who gave their Catholic Church membership back must be apostates of Christianity…
but sorry, I dont fit to this cliché, I am not an Apostate of Faith. I left during 1980s, because of wounded Faith! I felt that this Church constantly misinterprets Jesus Christ, for its own advantage, and for the advantage of worldly Kings and Politicians.

nowadays I dont know to which Religion I really belong,
but it is clear that God knows I belong to Him
and this is the part of the story that could be important for you and others, thats why I write this answer.

God showed me this by many little signs
and two of them had a reference to the Popes –
which means I still am deeply connected with the Church of Rome
and that my non-membership status does not matter to the Lord.

The first incident was shortly before death of John Paul II.
The dying Pope showed up at his window for a last time, and tried to make the Cross Sign with his hand but the hand didnt obey him no more so it became just a wave of goodbye.
I saw this on TV as millions of people all around the world.
And while the old Pope waved to the crowd I saw on his forehead
a large area of lighter color,
exactly circular and in the very same size as the Big Holy Host which is put into the Monstrance for worship
      - at the very moment I saw it, I realized that this must be the Seal of the Lamb mentioned in Revelation and that this must be the proof that this man is a Saint.
I did not estimate Popes much until that time, and I thought Pope John Paul II to be grossly wrong and all-too-conservative during his whole Pontificate; but when I saw this, I repented, and thought that the people who called for declaring John Paul II “santo subito” after his decease were absolutely right.
A medical colleague of mine saw that light round area too, it was no product of my own imagination.

The second was during that afternoon when Pope Francis was elected.

I was on medical duty that day,
and during free periods of time I watched the TV broadcasting from Rome, waiting for the White Smoke sign.

At some moment about twenty minutes before the white smoke was shown,
a thought flashed thru my mind, very clearly, like a loud voice
(but not heard as a voice – I never experience voices or other hallucinatory phenomena)
      and it said:

“This Pope will have the name of Francis.”

      I thought:
“can this be wishful thinking, because I love St Francis, or is it more?”

and kept watching the broadcast, luckily having the time for it,

and then the proclamation came that the new Pope really took the name of Francis.

I got down on my knees in shock and awe, weeping,
thanking God for showing me that I still somehow belong to Rome,

for why should God give me a precognition of a new Pope´s name if I had nothing more to do with Catholicism?
      And -
this goes out to all Catholics who doubt the spiritual value or viability of Pope Francis –
why should God give precognitions of the name of this Pope at all if, he were a false Pope or an Antichrist?

May St Francis of Assisi bless all people, may they be believers or disbelievers, who read this answer of mine.

        What a lunatic.

        1. Pope Paul VI. was a freemason.

        2. Pope John XXIII was a freemason.

        3. Pope JP I took the names of BOTH these freemason popes – what does that tell you.

        4. Pope JP II ditto.

        5. Pope Francis is the devil incarnate. you should check your voices they do not all come from god and even if it was from God it is not a sign of approval of either you or the pope.

How the antichrist will deceive millions.

Francis is not Peter the Roman. Peter the Roman would be, let me guess….. umm….I know, Peter.

there is a general consensus in theological circles that the last pope, peter was not part of the original prophecies and was added later by someone else. It differs from all the others in its nature , not fitting the mold but even if it is correct it would refer to a pope in abstentia because of the troubles within the church as exemplified by the freemasonic usurper in the current role.

There is NO bigger HOAX on planet earth than the Roman Catholic Church! Oh how I wish I could get people to wake up to the truth. I don’t even call the Roman Catholic organization a “church”…it is a RELIGION of man-made traditions and lies of the devil.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God” -Exodus 20:3

God is more jealous than any husband or wife could ever be. It is a dangerous thing to commit idolatry. It is a sin to bow to any saint. Roman Catholicism twists the Bible, actually condoning the idolatrous glorifying of dead people (saints). It is a sin to pray to anyone or anything in an attempt to influence God. There is ONLY One Mediator between God and men–The Lord Jesus Christ…

I could say the same things and more about the protesters (protestants) but why bother.

“I know my own and my own know Me.” says it all.

This article presents much distorted nonsense obviously compiled by a reprobate addicted to sin.

The Church has always respected prophetic revelations from persons of “proven holiness.”

In fact, Pope Francis has already announced that he intends to be present in Fatima on October 13, 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the great Miracle of the Sun which occurred there in 1917. The messages of Fatima are highly prophetic in nature.
