Greetings and welcome to zentrader. It is my hope to pass on some of the insights I’ve learned over the past 11 years trading so that you may avoid some of the pitfalls that the masses find themselves in. Every night I do research to prepare for the next day of trading, so I thought it would benefit others if I shared my thoughts and opinions as they typically conflict with what you’ll find on tv. I’m a momentum trader that specializes in market timing by using a proprietary system that I’ve developed over the years that takes emotions out of the trade. While it’s nearly impossible to eliminate your trading biases completely, there are many things you can do on a daily basis that gives you enough of an edge where you can have success in this industry. This alone should keep you coming back because knowing when to be long, short, or in cash will keep your equity curve rising over the long term. Blogging has been good to me over the past 2+ years. It has introduced me to many amazing individuals that I otherwise wouldn’t have had access to and opened up doors that we’re previously closed. Strangely enough it’s been therapeutic for me, as I’m finding the longer I trade the markets, the more ways I need to detach myself emotionally and find ways to relax my mind. I believe that to have longevity in this field one must find ways to calm the mind and trade from a detached point of view.
